oh that is so awsome that thier guest relations does that!!! Disney world needs to take note!!! Arrgg that was so much variation for my dd3 last year and boarding 36inches that it went day to day (in the same shoes) as to what she could ride and what she couldn't we'll check out guest relations as soon as we get there!!!
-
My kids are 6 and 4 (and 2 but she won't be riding much)... anyways my 6y/o ds is right near the 48inches mark, and 4y/o is right at 40inches how much measuring are they going to have to go through at the parks?? Will there be some one at the front of the line before we wait through the whole line then to find out that's variation in the line starter and someone that measures before boarding the ride??? any suggestion?

thanks so much, this will make my kids much happier at the water park!!!
-
Hi, wondering if eye gogles are permited, my kids absolutly HATE water in thier eyes so for them to enjoy these would really be needed, just the simple ones that cover eyes not the full face masks. THanks!!!

well i got some good news from dh, he's got a job interview on monday at 5pm so we won't be able to go when planed now anyways!!! Kinda happy that we will miss this crazy busy day but now we have to reschedual everything, pet car, hotel, ect, ect, gives me 2 more weeks to save some more $$ though! LOL

one the site it says bring 1 friend free was it more friend before??? Maybe that will make a diferance?
-
Guess my best bet is to hope for rain!!! wont this be fun!!! LOL

:CRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH that is so what i was worried about So what would be our best bet for things to do that day... kids rides? water park? small attractions then try to get the costers in the second day???
-
So chances that i'll still be able to ride this on my PKI trip on july 24 and 25 are pretty slim right???
-
OMG, i can't beleive i didn't see this on the website before when i was planing my vacation... but please tell me it's not going really busy. We are going to be going that day from 9am till about 3pm then leaving checking in then coming back to the park to watch fire works later and then we will be there all day tuesday till we are ready to drive home.

Ok, so i've read that no food or beverages are aloud in the parks, how strict are they with this? I mean disney says the same thing, but we took tons of drink (bottle water, frozen juice boxes, crackers, carrots, ect) in with us and nothing was ever said... What about our swim suit items, is it better to leave all the stuff in a locker and can you use it though the day just pay rent for all day? how much is that? how much can you fit in thoes things? OR if we get there at a decent time in the AM like 9AM and have fairly close parking (i did this before a few years ago having to go to the car for another reason every 3-4 hours this was however before metal detectors were put in), is it better to leave the stuff in the car as needed? I know we will need to bring the basics, diapers, sippy cups, wipes, sun screen, ect but is there anything that is suggested i avoid... Thanks!

This is that way my Credit union explained it to me that each person would have to pay $10 extra to get in the night before from 5 pm till 10pm. so really if you think about it you are almost better to get the 2 days for the price of 1 from the pki.com site. i think i'm getting them from my credit union b/c they are some how selling them for $29.99 adults and 23.99 for kids... then $10 each night before...
-
yet if you have on flip flops and want to ride face off you are permited to leave them while riding still right???
-
Thanks so much for that info~

I remember a LONG time ago when we went that girls/women had to wear shirts over their swim suit tops while in KI, but not the water park, ect. is this still the way it's done? Also does the water park provide life jackets for kids??? or is it better to bring your own?

This is what i was worried about i don't have a small unbrella type stroller just a larger one that is kinda bulky but works great for us for other things, we are taking our SUV that seats 7, taking 6 people so we will only have 1/2 of the back for storage of lugage for one night for 6 people, ect... oh well maybe i can find a smaller stroller and a rumage between now and then!!! Thanks!
-
See that s why it worries me to rent a stroller, i often happend at disney world that other guess would take another stroller while it was parked outside rides, ect. then you are out of a stroller and possibly a deposit, ect.... i think it seems like it might be worth the hassel of straping a stroller on top of the suv....

Ok thanks again for all this great info!!! We are still looking at hotels, we are not AAA memebers so can't get ticks from there, so i guess i need to find a hotel that does sell tickets in order to get the free after 5 night before deal???
-
Ok so for the tickets, if i do buy from another place other then a hotel then do thoes have the free the night before 5pm ????? If i don't stay at a hotel that sells ticks how do i get these kind???
-
Thanks for the thoes coupon links, but most of them say for rooms up to 4 people, we will be considered a family of 5... so that might make a differance... Do most or all of the hotels around sell PKI tickets, i read somewhere that you can only get in the night before on a one day ticket from the hotels... So for strollers, how are the park ones??? Are the big and hard, as in not comfy for my little one??? How much is rental? If we travel with one it will have to be straped to the top of the car more then likely and we don't want to have to do that unless needed... More questions to add in!!!! Is there hight restrictions on the water park rides/slides??? i'm having trouble finding them anywhere. Another aditonal ? Do PKI have any kinda of a baby swap so you don't have to wait through the line more then one time for you whole party to experiance rides with little ones??? If so how does it work?? Thanks again everyone, i'm so so so happy i found this place!

We plan to go to the park on a monday night and a tuesday, prolly will use the water park but not for to long, my dh doesn't care for the water parks, but my sister loves them so we can comprimise! LOL For the hotels we saw a Kings Luxury Inn??? But it's not on any of the hotel sites, but has a link from the PKI site.... wondering about it... it's got some nice packages. So anyone have anything to say about the strollers?? Thanks for the other replys!

Hi all, this is my first post here! Me and my family, me, hubby, 3 kids, age 6,4,1.5 and my sister are all planing a trip for the end of july. Me and my hubby haven't been since '02, had been going yearly almost before that then we had a rush with disney a few 3 times with the kids, family stuff, ect. anywho... Heading back to PKI and needing to know if we can make due with the 1 full day and day before 5pm-close or if we really need to take 2 full days... (our drive there and back will be about 3.5 hours) Next we need some tips on where to stay... we have been looking at the Kings Island Hotel, but it's kinda pricey, compaired to others.... Can you buy aditional tickets through that hotel since the hotel package only comes with 2 adult ticks, and we need the PM ticks for the night before??? Stroller, stroller, strollers, first time i've needed to have on at PKI, never took the kids before this trip! Although used them a lot at disney... first how un comfy and a pain are the park strollers? Will the shuttle at the hotel let us carry a stroller on? I think that's all for now, i'm sure i'll have lots more between now and the end of july!!!
