  1. I agree with Reon that there will never be a ride that replaces the special one I shared with my dad, but I am going to try those that you suggested. The Cobra will never be back, so I am anxious to ride another stand up for him and for me, because I always loved the feeling of stand-ups! We have been thinking about going to King's Dominion for awhile now, I'm gonna give it a try! Thanks for the suggestion The Interpreter!
  2. Hilarious Every coaster will be removed someday, but I don't think FOF is going anywhere anytime soon!
  3. King Cobra holds a special face in my heart. It was my dad's all-time favorite coaster at Kings Island... it was the first one we had to ride together every year, and then we would go back and ride it two or three times during the day. He loved the little 'bunny bumps' at the end, and swore those were more fun than the loops and drops. When my dad passed away four years ago, I went to Kings Island just a couple weeks later and made a beeline for the Cobra with the mind set to ride it for him, I was shocked to find it gone... I actually cried... I miss that ride more than any other former ride there.
  4. I don't think ANY of the rides are bad, I love them all. If I had to pick my least favorite it would be Drop Zone, but only because it's the only ride I've ever been on that made me sick... it got stuck up at the top for like 5 minutes and I am afraid of heights if I have to be up somewhere to long.
  5. I am a sucker for the pictures they take on the coasters. I have to get them all in keychains, but it's fun because when you look at them a couple years later you can laugh about how funny you looked going down the first hill on The Beast.
  6. I heard about Wendy's, they have discount tickets. I think you save like 5 or 8 dollars, which is a good deal. Also, I get this mailer (and I'm in Columbus) once a month with coupons in it and it had discount Kings Island passes. I don't remember the company that circulates the coupon packets, but you can ask around!
  7. I can remember every summer as a child riding the Phantom Theatre at least two or three times each visit. We would get hot and the Theatre always was nice and cool (until the part with the furnances, that got hot) when I was real young I didn't understand holograms and I use to think they were real ghosts (I can't believe I admitted that)! It's sad to see Phantom Theatre gone. I haven't gone through the new Scooby Doo ride, but it doesn't look like it would be fun at all.
