My folks got tickets to this... its really not my thing but my grandpa loved some of these guys so...might go.
-
Its been over a year since my grandma passed and this still happens with me over Cedar Point.
-
I remember it being there but never gave it much thought and notice all of a sudden there's more sun I figured it was changed over the years cause I remember you weren't able to go on the other side of it. Thank you!

When did the floral tunnel actually go? I do remember it was there as recent as 03-possibly even 04 cause I was underneath it a couple times sweeping. I think at that point it was mostly for food service purposes cause of all the tables. So...Nicktoons Universe transition?

I was actually in the same boat earlier this year when my cousin (KI fan as well) was killed back in March. It certainly got easier I suppose. Good luck.

Snoopy Rocks on Ice + Signed Sealed and Delivered
faeriewench replied to faeriewench's topic in Trip Reports
I was actually afraid of WindSeeker, I'm scared to death of Zephyr and the Wave Swingers... so for me to actually like WindSeeker is funny to me. -
Yep...it is me again. *wave* Finally returned to KI to get my first ride on WindSeeker. Not as terrifying I was expecting cause here's a little secret. I hate swings. I won't even touch Zephyr. I'll go ahead and say it.... I like it haha. It was a really hot and humid day and it was almost completely un-noticeable up there. Speaking of WindSeeker... When I go to KI, I refuse to drink any Coke or its other products..its all about the water. So of course when I need water I go to food stands get ice water (and not complain bout the cup size, water is water) and of course the water fountains. Over in Action Zone while I was waiting for a showing of Snoopy Rocks killing time, I went to Ice cream zone, I felt compelled (maybe forced is the wrong word but..) to buy a souvenir cup. Before this year, last time I ever bought a souvenir cup at KI was 2003 when Delirium debuted. I'm sure by my facial expression she knew I was really unsure and didn't really want to then she just had to throw in "you can get free water refills all day" I gave in. Yeah, I went with the WindSeeker. I will admit it did come in handy, but just as Snoopy Rocks had just began I already forgot I had it... I also saw my two favorite shows at the park as well.. starting off with Snoopy Rocks. Again...fantastic skaters! I was also pretty proud of the camera it didn't freak out as much like it did last year (I didn't have ISO increased all the way then >.>) I had one moment tho where this group of people came almost stumbling on top of me and then knocking over my souvenir cup that I sat on the floor in the process. I did my best to refrain from having a ticked off grandpa moment and kept my trap shut at the clumsiness of people. Anyway...pictures. I'm gonna attempt thumbnails but not with every single picture (not every one have speedy connections) WindSeeker <a href=" title="P1016149 by ki_faerie_wench, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5074/5900678667_5b853f05b0_m.jpg" width="240" height="180" alt="P1016149"></a> Snoopy Rocks on ice <a href=" title="P1016223 by ki_faerie_wench, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6034/5902579364_25dbca86ab_m.jpg" width="240" height="189" alt="P1016223"></a> <a href=" title="P1016428 by ki_faerie_wench, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6030/5903294895_9f96efa170_m.jpg" width="240" height="200" alt="P1016428"></a> <br> <a href=" title="P1016603 by ki_faerie_wench, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6044/5905090600_d8a1b51dc6_m.jpg" width="240" height="180" alt="P1016603"></a> <a href=" title="P1016656 by ki_faerie_wench, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6003/5904541307_3595338bdc_m.jpg" width="240" height="154" alt="P1016656"></a> Signed Sealed and Delivered (still uploading pics) <a href=" title="P1016720 by ki_faerie_wench, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5277/5904566319_48ca5d559a_m.jpg" width="240" height="180" alt="P1016720"></a> And of course, everything else. So this past week I took a complete break from the KI...stuff for my two favorite nearby zoos. On Tuesday I went to the Cincinnati Zoo. Got my glimpse of little Zuri, the giraffe calf born back in April, sadly she isn't really on display (you can still see her) as she has been remaining indoors recovering from her leg injury with her mom Tessa. However her father Kimba can be seen and fed by the GP I liked "Night Hunters" tho I miss it being Cat House. A bobcat in there found my camera bag interesting cause she was pawing at the window and trying to get a closer look at the bag (probably thinking something of interest is in it) and me being the kitty person I am..thought it was flipping adorable, haha. Here are my Cincinnati Zoo photos:http://www.flickr.com/photos/ki_faerie_wench/sets/72157627017117942/ Yesterday (June 25th) I went to the Indy Zoo to take advantage of the nice day. It has been quite a few years since I been out there so had some catching up to do on what was new. I met up with a local and friend to the area and we visited all the animals exhibits. We spent probably... 2 almost 3 hours in total for the day with the dolphins Indie and China took interest in our SHINY keys so we kind of took our keys and toss them in the air as the dolphins followed them to the floor. Yay for shiny objects. I love their exhibit and the dome, my only complaint is the reflections on the glass. Though I'm over all satisfied with the pictures I did get as I was expecting worse. I have to say my favorite exhibit for the entire afternoon was actually the tigers. I <3 the big cats. I saw the coaster and watched it for a couple minutes but didn't ride it as I didn't find it that important. How long has that coaster been there? Cause I don't remember it. Here are some of my pictures from out of Indy Zoo so far:http://www.flickr.co...57626923958977/ There are a couple on FB, but I put all my stuff on Flickr and typically leave FB for personal favorites http://www.facebook....95&l=c4e71a3147

Windseekers expected to debut Tuesday 6/21

Might sound stupid especially coming from ME, but does this mean Beast/Dback ERTs are over? -
Thank you and your welcome @Gator Lol

I went mainly for the shows this trip although I did get my usual rides on AE and FD tho! Think a few of the stone temple warriors must have really bad cramps from pounding those drums last 18+ years, someone get them some medical attention I did end up spending about hour and a half in Festhaus to cool off considering I hate humidity, it just makes me pretty grouchy. And since a showing of American Country was coming on, I decided to stay for it. I actually enjoyed it more than Down Home Country in a lot of ways and also am I going deaf (since my head is always shoved into the engine of the Oldsmobile or some mopar haha) or did they actually lower the volume in Festhaus? It's not as loud as I remember. The 9/11 Tribute actually brought me pretty darn close to tears cause I remember that day really well despite my age at the time. After the showing I bumped into Captain Nemo (great seeing you again ) and met Kirk S. for the first time. (sorry Kirk if you were caught off guard, I'm bit of an elusive type so don't feel bad happens to everyone just ask Gator XD) Later in the afternoon, I went to Pirate Adventure, thought it was kinda cute, lol. Though no one told me about the water they shoot out towards the audience! T___T oh well. At least my camera didn't get wet, but that water was hot to my skin. Before leaving I caught the beginning half of the Peanuts Party in the Plaza. It was fairly enjoyable. Kudos to the talent in that show in that sort of heat/humidity. Normally when I go to the park to see some shows, I try to pick a day where they are all open, sadly since it being a Wednesday, no ice skate show.. Eh, I'll return This trip was actually a spur of the moment surprise trip. I like surprises. Good ones...not the bad ones. Anyway...the pictures (woohoo?) Keep in mind I am actually no where near done with picture uploading..so yeah.
