I also love Vortex, but yes it is true that it is sinking a few inches each year but I don't think that they are too worried about it, so if I were you I wouldn't worry.

Yes I agree that we need a record breaking steel coaster, but Firehawk is unique but also not record breaking. We need something that will attract new fans and more publicity!!

Today it wasn't open because of repairs . They were welding something on either part of the track or on one of the trains I couldn't tell, Most likely on one of the trains.

Kings Island staff and medics were not the ones who responded so quickly. It actually took them about 10 minutes to arrive on scene with the AED. Myself and a respiratory therapist are the ones who responded and began CPR. I actually thought it took them a little too long to get there. I would like to see them station AEDs thru out the park so that in the future a shock can be delivered even faster. Early defibillation and early cpr is the key to successful resusitation. I posted a response that tells what the outcome was....you may be surprised!! DeeRN Yeah I heard about a girl passing out in line for Firehawk because of the heat, now.......I think they should put concessions or a vending machine atleast inthe Firehawk station.

If Son of Beast gets torn down, don't expect a new coaster in that area any time soon. The price for tearing down the largest wooden structure in the world could easily equal the price of a new coaster. I agree with the other fella that replied to u earlier and u shouldn't expect anything soon.

I think I agree with that statement that you have made but I would go with the new coaster to atract new people, or new bathrooms back towards Firehawk.
