What is Kings Island REALLY going to get?
Beast1979 replied to familyguyfun1's topic in Coming Attractions
It's not that it's just, when was the last time KI got 2 big coasters in a row (big meaning not in Kiddie Land!) ? -
That would be just about perfect!

Move One Ride from Anywhere in the Country to KI
Beast1979 replied to MarketingExpress's topic in Coming Attractions
Volcano: The Blast Coaster. Put it behind The Racer and X-Base. make it an add on to X-Base and officialy make X-Base it's own area. Man, I'd Wait all day for that. -
No! Low Capacity Coasters are something KI does not need. Besides, That really does not fit the KI Atmosphere. Not much does, besides a B&M!!!!!!!!!!! Beast1979

I noticed FoF at KI is Listed as the first LIM Launched coaster ever, but FoF at KD was opened on the same day at the same time. What Up?

Ah. Yes. Sorry. If Magnum is removed I will be scared Silly. Beast1979

I am overjoyed that Paramount is FINALLY leaving KI. Good Ridance! Beast1979

Here's a Hint: Try 2 red and Blue PTC Cars with 6 cars each, each car with room for 4 people. Beast1979

Where exactly do you plan to put this so-called "Coaster in Rivertown"? All I see is The Beast, TR:TR, and a Lake. Where's the station going to go? I'm Curious. Besides, we just put in Firehawk. Look For 2009 or 2010 Beast1979

I was Scared Silly of The Beast when we were at the top of the first hill. I said to myself: "what the $#@* am I doing? I'll never ride this again." I ended up riding The Beast 5 times that day! Beast1979

There are only 2 drop coasters on the planet. Both at Bush Gardens. What tells you KI will get one? Rivertown Has little room to expand. Check The Map. I'm on board with the Idea of a B&M Hyper behind The Racer. And the box looks really cool. Beast1979

^ Paramount owned KI when the runway was painted. The entire area was made as a fight hanger to add to FoF. Beast1979

^ I don' care how long it takes, I wan't the old Kings Island back. The Kings Island when it wasn't about using rides for advertising movies. Beast1979

The Magnum was built in 1988, Vortex in '87. The Magnum sinking started rumors about The Vortex because they were built 1 year apart by the same company in the same state. I bet neither of them are sinking, and both will last for years.

I love B&M and would really enjoy a KI B&M. But unless the guy was really upper class, you can never trust those guys who blab like that. I knew a guy who worked at KI for a couple of years, and he said they were planning on takeing The Vortex down in 2004! Beast1979

They shot off the fireworks back there for years Beast1979

Congo has short lines and few customers. The Timberwolf plays like two shows a year. Yet I don't see why they would take them down. KI still has another 300 achers of land to use! Beast1979

Kings Island has rights to the Paramount names for at least 3 more years. No need to spend the money on rethemeing now. The are just trying to liquify the merchendice. Top Gun was going to be called Thunder Road, so I think thats what there going to call it. Runaway Reptar should be themed as a mini Thunder Road, and the FOC should be named The Beastie. The IJST and TR:TR, well, I dunno what to do with with them. Maybe replace the cars and take away all the police cars and stuff on IJST and plant a thick forest around the track, and theme it as a small coaster weaving through the woods. The Billboard smash through gould be re-themed like you're brsting through a waterfall. Or you could just remove IJST and put a feerris wheel in it's place like there was before Old-Fasion cars. That's my thought. Beast1979

Here's a hint: Goodbye FearFest, hello Haloween Haunt! Beast1979

How do you plan to put floorless trains on a suspended coaster?

TTD belongs at Cedar Point. Cedar Point excels in Extremes. A 400 foot, 100 mile an hour rocket coaster, seems like its in a natural setting there. Kings Island has a completly different atmosphere. Besides, the last thing KI needs is a matenence nightmare. And after Face/Off, Son of Beast, Flight of Fear, Firehawk, IJST, and every coaster in Nick Universe, TTD would just add to the list of coasters with extremly long lines. If anything from Cedar Point, I'd want Wicked Twister or their Ferris Wheel. Beast1979

^ I belive The Vortex is built on unstable land, not sinking land, which means some areas are rising, and others are sinking. But as you can tell from the picture above, the sinking and rising is NOT enough to get it removed as far as I can see.

Cedar Fair is Terrible at themeing rides, Firehawk is no acception. The only theming I see is the colors and the location (X-Base).
