I know what you mean I used to be extremely scared of coasters due to a trama I had when I was little. It was the same thing I didn't like the feeling I'd get when it first went down. Now I love coasters It took get back on The Beast to conquer my fear. Now I'm working my way up to bigger coasters.

It may physically feel like a floorless (if your feet don't touch), but the difference is the mind games that play in your head when you see the track just beyond your feet. I can imange it being a little scary.

I haven't rode yet so I can't really say much. But I guess it would appeal to feel floorless if your feet don't reach the floor.

Personally I like my woodies a little rough. So in a way Sob's roughness doesn't botther me anymore than the Father does. I also don't think they would tear down a ride right away just because there aren't alot of people riding it. In that case AE would be gone.
