A photo update has been posted to kdfansite. that clearing goes pretty far back....... and prep work started for Diamondback so early because of KIs winter climate, KD however has a very mild winter which usually provides good weather for construction

yeah I read that too and its funny how after that came out everyone started screaming giga again(including me because quite franquly I love mf) and someone on KDFansite said they were stuck on a coaster for like 15 minutes and the ride opp said all they knew was it was going to be taller than Drop Tower, and another person(could be the same not sure) said "ok just got back from the park. We made a stop by the supports for a closer look and there is hand writing on them. Serial numbers or ride location i have no idea but this is looking more like intamin. I must have asked 30 people employees today about it and no one had any idea what was going on. The guest relations manager did say: " I hope its as tall as they say its going to be".. Take that for what its worth but he was very hush hush about the project. The funny part was before he said anything he was looking around to see if anyone was around.. HAHA This must be some top secret stuff going on.. Or he was just screwing with me. Up close though those supports are way too big for an ispeed type coaster. IMO of course' coastercrew4life

I think hes just making the point Cedar Fair loves intamins but only gives them to Cedar Point(and xcelerator but that was proabibly just to test the launch system for top thrill dragster) thats how I took it

yes it looks a lot of fun but its hourly capacity is 820pph which wont cut it at KD I say more of an ispeed or maverick type ride would be more likely but those supports are really big.......

No, b&m supports are all circular thease appear to be the new intamin supports. I am very suprised how cedar has a string of b&ms but would just decide to go intamin with KD it could be that theres a b&m hyper 1-2 hours away and same with an intamin hyper so they are going with an intamin giga so they are different but who knows

oops my mistake I meant supports not track, but I wouldnt be suprised if track was somewhere near being hidden..... and yes there are some people going to the park today

people are starting to think it will be a B&M flyer because carowinds is supposed to get a hyper but id be happy with a flyer or hyper and markers were spotted near Flight of Fear

Over at kdfansite someone reported seeing King Cobras trains behind Anaconda next to Flight of Fear. I guess were getting them as spare parts for Shockwaves trains. What do you think about this?

Depends on when you go,on my trip in july they had all trains going on the woodies save for rebel yell left side.As for Dominator I recommend front row outside left...the best seat in the house IMHO. Definatley the best seat for Dominator. Second best is back left side.

I havn't been to a "bad" park yet. every park I have been to has been in great shape but it will proabibly be Six Flags America when I eventually go there based on what people have told me. parks I have been to, Kings Dominion, Cedar Point, Busch Gardens Europe, Hersheypark, Knobles Grove, Williams Grove(was abandoned), Disney World, and Islands Of Adventure.

Hurler, rebel yell and Grizzly commonly only have one train but Shockwave usually runs two trains. where was the line at on Flight of Fear? it usually dosnt have that bad of a wait. Also where did you ride Anaconda at? Also did you ride Volcano at night?

I've been to Kings Dominion about 10 times this year and counting. 1.Dominator-go to right away and wait for front car(try to get outside) Dominator and berserker are the only thrill rides open until 10:30 so ride them until 10:30. 2.berseker-not a top 2 ride but it and dominator are the only rides open until 10:30. 3.Volcano-opens at 10:30 great ride, must ride at night 4.Flight of Fear opens at noon 5.Anaconda- arrow looper, goes under water after the MCBR can be rough helps to stick your head out of the restraint. 6.Drop Zone- ours is higher and faster than Kings Island's(272 ft tall 72mph drop) but ours dosnt spin on the way up 7.Shockwave-our standup coaster similar to King Cobra, the farther back the smoother it gets and you get pulled down the first drop. 8.by this time if the lines arnt bad it should be around noon and you should hit Flight of Fear 9.Ricochet-very unique wild mouse style coaster and fun 10.Rebel Yell-VERY IMPORTANT- while at the enterance go to the right side and for the trains get the middle of a car 11.Hurler- VERY IMPORTANT- get as close to front as possible if not front, always a walk on and ride the right side. helps to not put your hands up and relax whle keeping a firm grip on the restraints but dont let it catch you off guard it can break your ribs. 12.Grizzly-best woddie in the park the tunnel is great but bumpy the closer to front the smoother. If its hot than it helps to cool down in waterworks briefly during the day the enterance is next to drop zone. Also on avalanche you have to have two people together and it can be very uncomfortable. If you've been on BLSC at Kings Island then just dont even worry about ours. it has plastic supporting your back and is very painful.

Including the ride itself I guess. The entire ride moves notably slower...but since it's me and I have a "scewed sense of speed" it must be my imagination that it takes the top-most portion of the ride much slower than it used to (to the point of wondering at times if the ride will crest the hill.) I went on Kings Dominion's Flight of Fear this past Wedensday and it was hauling @$$ through the first part and on the MCBR it bareley stopped us. Of course this meant it was bumbier than usual but it was fun!
