  1. Trip report 8/4-8/5 Had a great time both days but rain kind of messed up the start of tuesday but it cleared up. Monday had a good size crowd but not to bad as far as wait times go. Started with conga falls.Great way to get wet at the start of the day. Next was the SOB.Yes i chickened out,but i did try to get in the seat, but the belt would not fit.I need to lose a little more. Next was the scrambler.Great ride always love it. A/e was next.Great coaster and lines was almost empty. Flight of Fear was next(and YES i did it)Pretty good size line.Ride broke down just before we got there, but we hung in there and after a 30 min or so delay i was a board.I dont know why i would be affraid of this ride.I guess the fear of the unknown i guess.Any how i loved it.I heard from other riders that day,the ride shutdown quite a bit that day,as well as tuesday when i was going to ride it again. Next was the river ride.Got pretty wet.I really enjoy dropping quarters in and soaking others passing by. Next was The Beast.I fit that one ok.Great ride.My fav. Rested for a few then went for another ride on The Beast. Time to eat.felt yuck after that ride so i knew it was time to chow down. Got hand stamped(ouch).Seems to me,like the girl stamping hands, hated doing that job.Last time up she was in a bad mood it seemed."NOT YOUR LEFT HAND,YOUR RIGHT HAND PLEASE"Sorry,im not trained to know what hand to give you lady.Oh well every one has days like that i guess. Came back and went up on the tower.Great view and very good girls working the tower. She works the merry go round as well if im right. She talked with me,and made me feel like she was glad i came and hoped to see me back again.I will. Headed over to the scooby doo haunted castle.Great fun. Then i headed over to The Beast for my night time ride(my first one)17 min wait but well worth it. Very very very great ride at night. It made my day and night. I could have rode The Vortex but was fighting a mild head ached so i enjoyed the fire works. tuesday-Rain delayed part of my day but we hung in there. Played a few games then rode the sdhc. The rain had stopped by the time we got out of the ride. Next was the The Beast.Heard it rides faster after the rain.yep it does. (Just a note.i can get one click on my lap bar but the ride operators get me that other click.Once they missed it but no big deal.)Rode the log ride next. DRT on the fairly odd coaster Love my gold pass. 8.99 Cokes all you can drink all day.great.thank you. Next was Firehawk. My friend rode it since i forgot,no fanny packs allowed. I headed to fof but it was down so i headed back to The Beast. Nice way to end the day. Next trip in oct if i have the money.Dont gold pass members get a discount to fright fest and nic or treat? All in all not a bad day.
  2. Hmmmm that would make for a great tv ad for Kings Island.Always a kid at heart no matter what age.
  3. Mine was on The Beast a year back.my lap bar came up half was into the ride.i thought nooooo.i got that last hill and i could just picture me stuck to the wall in the helix.Thank God i held my lap bar down and during the last lift,it locked back in place.Does this happen to anybody else?
  4. i seen this old guy.he had to be in his 80's taking them poor kids with the bumper cars.I joked with him about and then he said he was off to face The Beast.please tell me they would stop this old guy?but heck.come to think of it i would be doing the same thing.i want to ride tell i die.coasters rock.
  5. Im not quite sure but i thought astroland in ny i think has the cyclone racer like the one from long beach there.I think they charge 5.00 a ride. The pike wanted a west coast version of it and i must admit they did a good job.
  6. a few years back,a lady looking up at the sonny ask me (kid you not)is that the worlds famious cyclone racer?no i said.they moved it kennywood.LOL I wonder if she ever found it?Sonny is in a league of it's own how could she insult sonny? And yes i heard people call The Racer the old cyclone racer.(duh)
  7. Once i get myself down to 230 by next opening day,i will give Cedar Point a try but for now,i will enjoy what i know at Kings Island.
  8. In that case it could be called Big foot beast or better yet flight 666(would you dare ride now)? No matter what what, this ride is going to rock.
  9. i enjoyed Kings Island last week but due to the heat, the girl friend wanted to head home. Anyhow i have lost some weight and down to 267 at 5-6. I was able to ride a.e roller coaster(a little snugg but felt ok)as well as the scambler(no problem)the monster just fine and the water rides easy then she got sick(dang it.)I will be out next week and want to ride my favorites like The Beast and sob(if i dont chicken out ha ha) as well as fof and Vortex.IM just wondering if i will fit ok with them rides since i fit a.e?someone told me the font cars on The Beast are more forgiveing for bigger people. Please give me some feed back.
