  1. Or they're trying to make sure it opens on time...
  2. Coney Refreshments is now partially enclosed with windows.
  3. The Famouse sign was fixed yesterday.
  4. I notice some of the food menus are wrong- some are missing things. It would also be nice if they had a short description for any food item that needed it. Rides look good- I wonder if there'll ever be the estimated wait time on the app? The car locator is also really neat.
  5. I've seen dummies riding some of the rides along with everyone else...
  6. So, would you rather lose an attraction completely, or have part of it survive as an upcharge?
  7. http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=16435 There was definitely another topic on this at the time, but I can't find it now. But I do remember it being a surprise when it reopened in 2009...
  8. Whoa, whoa, whoa. "10-minute film"? http://www.dinosaliv...w&id=5&Itemid=6 http://www.walmart.com/ip/15715478 ...? I am vastly confused now.
  9. I think I'd be happier if it were a longer film (I'd have no problem paying $2 extra for a 30min film), or if it was simply included with the $5 for Dinosaurs Alive, but I've been doing some research on how much other venues charge for the film. The ones I've found have IMAX, but here they are http://www2.fi.edu/t...eater/dinos.php $9 http://www.mdsci.org...saursalive.html Seems to be $14? http://www.sandiego....t/Visitors/7672 "$10-$16" http://www.moodygard...max_3d_theater/ $10.95 (I don't think this one is IMAX?) I'm tired of looking at Google, so I'll leave it at that, but I think KI is definitely pricing theirs fairly well (and I know, it's not IMAX at KI, but still...).
  10. The vast majority of rides at Kings Island are included with admission. Besides, they were originally planning to close Action Theater in 2009. Also, remember that an upcharge was removed this year... apparently the Eurobobbles are no more. By the way, I think the 3D glasses might be new. It says Dolby 3D... http://www.dolby.com...tal-cinema.html
  11. So we're calling it Action FX Theater again now? I doubt many people outside of KIC will care. Honestly, when's the last time you saw Action (FX?) Theater not nearly empty.
  12. I thought it was on purpose, but the sign at RPW is spelled right. Remember, we've had an "Airbrush Tee's" sign for quite a while... Seems like spelling on sign's isn't exactly King's Islands strong pointe.
  13. I'd love to see a coaster and general park improvements. I don't really enjoy visiting Boomerang Bay (not a fan of waterparks here) so I don't know what it needs, from the walking around I've done there it seems like a small slide complex, another restroom (?), and another food stand (Outback Shack has looked jammed whenever I've been there). I think some repainting and repaving in Action Zone would do wonders, and some new lighting and new paint on International Street (including a revamp of the main gate) would also look amazing.
  14. I wish they'd integrate Timberwolf into Action Zone. New name, new paint with brighter colors, and new seats would do a lot for it. Also, the old lights that are a holdover from the pre-AZ days need to go.
  15. The fireworks go off at 10pm on midnight close days.
  16. There are honestly people out there who feel that they should get free food with a gold pass. *headdesk*
  17. 20oz bottled drinks from vending machines and carts are $4.00. 20oz bottled water from anywhere is $4.00. Small fountain drink is $4.04 including tax, but a large is still $4.25 like last year.
  18. Got any Rollercoaster magazines...? =P

  19. If they played country in Rivertown, people would complain about that, too.
  20. If she wanted a copy of the restrictions, she could have asked for them when purchasing tickets. But that would require common sense.
  21. I miss the rest of the floral clock. I would rather have the full clock than Christmas lights on it.
  22. They must have had different hiring or training techniques this year, because I can't think of a single rude employee I saw, as opposed to quite a few I saw during the first few weekends last year.
  23. They sold them there last year, I recall seeing the signs that say "We Use Peanut Oil", which they use for the fresh-cut fries. I kinda miss the old name, Coney Potato Works is rather generic.
  24. I can't remember, did they ever say who the people in the video clips actually were? I know from reading here, but I think a lot of guests might wonder who they are. A introduction to the people in the clips might help. They might have had one and I just forgot, though. I did like that they added a common theme to the show.
  25. If you had a chance to "fix" the somewhat disjointed theme of Oktoberfest, what would you do? Try to keep it somewhat realistic- tearing down Festhaus and installing a stratacoaster isn't probably something the park would do. I would eliminate Oktoberfest entirely. Outer Hanks is pretty much part of Coney Mall anyway, so Coney Mall would extend down to Adventure Express's entrance (I know it doesn't fit the theme of Coney Mall, but it doesn't fit the theme of Oktoberfest either). The remaining area would be considered part of International Street. Viking Fury would stay unchanged. Festhaus would get a new name but keep LaRosa's and Panda Express. I would install a third food stand in place of the current restrooms. restrooms in place of every empty spot in Festhaus. I'd also remove the current tables and benches in favor of seating similar to a mall's food court. The stage would still be used for the current shows. Edit:
