  1. Isn't that nearly any amusement park ride? You can't get off a rollercoaster or even a flat ride if you "experience distress".
  2. WindSeeker's topper looks covered in metal and finished.
  3. Hand 'em over, my friend! You have waaaaaaaay too much time on your hands. Don't spend 'em all in one place.
  4. True, but I didn't see them ripping out freshly-poured concrete to add pavers, either. Weird.
  5. I think they ran out of three-pronged bushes. Some prankster must have removed the copy and paste options from the artist's Photoshop program. Maybe this does mean they'll finally sell souvenir size maps like Cedar Point does? I hope so. I want one. (if anyone can find my three-pronged bushes on the CP map, they win 5,000 internets)
  6. It has to be a legit page. There's no other way anyone could take some of those pictures (there's a rather impressive picture of Coney Mall on there too, turns out there's another shade structure thing by the planters!) during the offseason. And I kinda like seeing the preshow room's door closed. Gives me hope.
  7. The lack of loop on Invertigo. And parts of the map in general... I am 99% sure that the old PKI map was used as a guide. Note the blank banners on Front Gate, the spiral sign by Drop Zone, the grass instead of pavement behind Skyline in Coney Mall, and some other similarities that are "errors".

  9. https://www.facebook...167865009917897 (KI posts this stuff on a public Facebook page, I'd assume they have no problem with anyone sharing it...)
  10. They could at least trees around the perimeter of the park. I'm not expecting them to add them *in* the park and have them obscure Coney Mall and International Street like they do in reality, but the map just looks strange with the rides around the edge located in an open void. Also, the WindSeeker area isn't even accurate (notice the huge gap between the bathroom and WindSeeker and the location of the former Action Theater exit in relation to WindSeeker. By the way, why does Drop Tower still have the spiral Drop Zone logo in front of it from the PKI map?
  11. I actually quite like Smash Factory. I wouldn't mind seeing it come back. And it doesn't seem to have the apparently problematic 3D.
  12. Even if they didn't need an elevator to inspect WindSeeker an elevator would be helpful for when they have to change the lightbulb at the top. I can't imagine that being a fun job otherwise...
  13. I once heard someone call the train the "Dippin' Dots ride".
  14. My prediction: RaptorGuy will complain about it.
  15. His picture should be posted in the operator booth so they can make him get out of line if he tries to ride. It's like Kings Island's Most Wanted.
  16. I can't imagine it isn't really annoying for them. And it might lead to those stupid "games" where people try to stand up when their end of the ship is in the air.
  17. I believe it's the platform at the top of the ride. You can see the railing that's visible in the renderings.
  18. I know, surprised me too.
  19. ...Fourth of July.* And that just made my day. (*talking about the registers going down, not the other stuff)
  20. I would rather they pick something totally new. Often it feels as if the Micros registers are working against you and not with you, especially the manual push-button style. "Magnetic card is the wrong type." "Employee ID not found." "Sending guest check." "Computing CRC list." *register locks up for 5min* *scream* Also, it should not take a phone call to turn on a register that was accidentally shut off. Picking something totally new (and hopefully touch screen) would be really nice. Or upgrading the existing registers so that they were more user-friendly.
  21. RaptorGuy, what's "Ghost Manor"?
  22. Once you go in the associate entrance (on Western Row Rd), you drive straight until you can park. It has a glass front entry door and a huge sign that says "HUMAN RESOURCES". You can't miss it.
  23. Ah, guys, of course KINGSISLANDMASTER would know this stuff. Everyone in Food and Beverage attends rides training, right? And he didn't even work there a whole season, he "quit". (then had a very suspicious grudge against the park, which seems to have been erased from here, which doesn't line up with the quitting story)
