  1. Where's that? I think the show sounds like a good idea. If it didn't bump an existing show, I wouldn't really mind having it here for the season. Kinda like American Idol at WDW, no?
  2. Well, we did have the first hyperwoodie...
  3. Brain fart. Coming in from International Street does require walking through a portion of it... I forgot about coming in from Rivertown.
  4. I really hope that they don't implement the themed area music to play the Miley Cyrus/Jonas Brothers/Kidz Bop soundtrack that they use at CP's PS. Especially since riding DB requires walking through PS... There are people who know what they are called. They can't tell you until the park announces them.
  5. Did CF keep the themed music at any of the other ex-Paramount parks?
  6. I would *LOVE* to see KI history stuff in the IR! I was up there for the first time on Saturday, and I was really impressed with the view of the park. I doubt it will be used as a restaurant again, so that would be a great use.
  7. Whoever it is, I don't think they realize Wanna bet they thought that posting to a fan page that they admin posted it under their actual name and not the fan page name?
  8. Sorry if I forgot any. For me... 1. I would say BLSC was treated the best. Most of the original theming is still intact, and most of the stuff that isn't, they had a good reason for removing. Overall, I really like that ride, so I'm glad that it wasn't stripped of everything like... 2. ...The Crypt. Did I really need to put choices for that poll? I don't really need to explain my opinion on The Crypt...
  9. What about parking? I'm not concerned about the gold pass ERT, but I am quite curious about parking when visiting as a guest. That isn't mentioned at all, so i'm not really sure. :/ (and it makes me assume that it's not a perk)
  10. I've been trying to figure that out. There's nothing about it either way that I can find. Anyone have any idea how this actually works? (I also like how they say to enter through the "specified entrance" when visiting the park as a guest, but they never say what the "specified entrance" is)
  11. The only big benefit that I can think of is that your associate ID can be used for free admission to the park.
  12. But why wouldn't they have done that last year? I'm sure it cost more than a few nickels to make the new signs...
  13. From what I've seen from outside the park (I have not been in AZ, or even close), SoB appears to not have been touched over the offseason. Whether that's evidence for/against its removal, I don't know.
  14. I really hope that they attempt to do some of their own theming work instead of just removing the Scooby stuff. The last scene will need some serious work, or they could just cover it up. (hoping for the first option!) Edit: What just happened?
  15. I'm really impressed with the way that KI is answering the questions. They don't seem to be dodging questions that are somewhat tough- like SoB and Crypt questions. Props to whoever is running the page!
  16. Are you talking about the post that has now been edited to remove that information?
  17. Terpy, at the time that the picture was taken, the parking lot could be entered by nearly anyone who wanted to. I will remove it, though, until I can read through that section of the employee guidelines and see exactly what isn't allowed to be posted. Edit: It appears to me that the guidelines only apply to confidential information. I can't imagine it possibly applying to that photo, since it was an observation of my own, and was taken in an open area. It appears that their policy is intended to cover against the posting of if, say, I knew for a fact that SoB was being removed, which I do not.
  18. I was really surprised when I saw that on my way in.
  19. SoB parking is now Diamondback... dun dun dun!
  20. At the start of 2009, that was Taste Of Belgium, iirc, which served Belgian waffles and beer. After that was quickly changed, it became the I-Street BBQ, which seemed to be a last-second idea, to me, anyway. (too many commas!)
  21. In sprite of the fact that it's not sold at the Point, they may just have the urge to vault it up there someday.
  22. Now granted Cantor is a Louisville bankruptcy attorney so I don't expect him to know about ride longevity, and I'm no expert myself, but just how long has The Flying Dutchman lasted?
  23. You'll be able to watch it being made? I don't think there's enough windows on that shop for that to work...
  24. I think so.
