  1. I'm sorry but I thought the whole idea was kinda weird. Not the story, but the subject you based it on. Just my two cents...
  2. Sheesh. Some people seem to make this so difficult. ANY KIND OF PICTURE TAKING OR FILMING IS STRCITLY PROHIBITED WHILE RIDING.
  3. Delirium. Good times on and off the ride so far.
  4. I did but I won't say who else because of privacy issues. If they want to, they'll respond.
  5. I'm going to second that Barnyard. Keep in mind that none of us "went to college for four years to learn this stuff," but I'd put Face/Off just below TR in terms of how complex the ride is.
  6. There's another topic exactly like this with plenty of replies.
  7. You are correct. The ride is actually still there. It now operates as "Boo Boo's Baggage Claim" and sits next to Yogi's Skytours.
  8. Oh Eagles, good choice. Why the Eagles would be awesome in my backyard, I think I'm going to go with Drop Zone here. I love that ride to death and after operating the thing for four years, you tend to learn some neat things about it!
  9. It is safe to say that the King Cobra will never again operate at PKI. It was taken out for a reason folks.
  10. PT is not coming back, get over it people. Scooby is here to stay and might I add, a GREAT follow-up to PT.
  11. I don't know if I will be on it but I was there for the shoot.
  12. You think they don't know? Trust me, they do. They have alot more important things to do then one little effect on TR that is not at FULL potential.
  13. Delirium's sign is just fine. It fits in well with the ride, an eye-catcher. I'm just happy SlingShot got it's sign!
  14. Ok, I can't vote for myself because I'd be breaking the "rules" but I'll vote for my Mom and Dad. Six hours for Flight of Fear on the season pass holders only day in late May of 96. Three hours holding your place in line and three hours of going through the line. We just happen to have our spot in front of Zephyer so my Sister and I rode Zephyer over and over again until the line actually started to move. FoF and Zephyer was all we rode too in the main park. After we got off FoF we went over to WaterWorks for the rest of the day. Funny thing, it had actually stormed outside while we were in the hangar and we didn't even know about it. Definately one of those moments I'll never forget.
  15. It is on the Fun & Safety Guide in front of the line. Get your eyes checked. Anyone who is operating a thrill ride at PKI does so in a SAFE and efficient manner. Just because people hide cameras in their pockets and other WEIRD places doesn't mean the ops aren't paying attention.
  16. On the Fun & Safety Guide at the entrance of EVERY ride, including Tomb Raider, it says " The taking of pictures while riding is prohibited." Don't give me that "if the ops truly cared about your safety" crap. Ride ops can't see everything nor can we prevent everything. On top of that, not every ride has cameras to watch the riders. Anyone operating a thrill ride at PKI has went through training and has met the qualifications to operate the ride. Now I'm not going to go into personal examples but if the supervisor doesn't feel the trainee is ready to operate the ride then they don't, simple as that. Not just any Joe Shmoe can operate a thrill ride at PKI, trust me. I'm not going to mention specific companies but I have cringed at some of the things I have witnessed at other non-Paramount parks. From observation, Paramount Parks is the safest chain in the market.
  17. Glad you liked the ride! It's definately a crowd pleaser. As for DZ, it hasn't changed. Still drops from the same height it always has.
  18. There's a topic on this because? Anyone who thought Delirium would not have hurlers(pun intended), needs their heads checked!
  19. Nobody broke their arm on Delirium.
  20. To answer your question beastbreakdown, TR:TR had some downtime this weekend and the park is just working out the problems. Opening weekend bugs and nothing more.
  21. Beastfreak is right. The trims going down the first drop of Beast have been there for years. It's just the magnetic trims are way more effective. They aren't going anywhere either so I guess you'll have to continue to be disappointed. Call me crazy but I kinda like being "thrown" from the trims going down the drop.
  22. Depends. Weather has alot of say. However I would expect a nice crowd that day!
  23. Geesh we get it. You want us all to believe your silly little rumor. Closing...
