No, it is a reference point to show much we missed the peak by, especially when combined with the flu activity chart. Of the published current hospitalizations of Covid in Ohio, it never reached the levels of the flu for this year.

I don't have the readily available data that those two have at their disposal to make decisions. Also once more information does become available, which it has and did, I am willing to have that challenge my prior beliefs. This did not seem like something that was happening with Dewine and Acton.

The numbers are going up because testing has skyrocketed. Florida did 41,000 tests yesterday with about 1,200 positive. For a 2.9% positive percentage. You can say that the case count has gone up for sure but when looking at the whole picture there are no issues with 49 of 50 states. Just reacting to number of positive numbers only with no comparison to how many test are being done is just lazy reportiing. Also states are/ should be aggressively attacking hot spots now more than ever with the increased testing ability. Daily positive testing number are almost meaningless anymore with these factors. Death number tell a much clearer picture. Even the hospitalization numbers can be misleading. Many hospitals are "hoteling" Covid patients now more than ever.

They got exactly what they wanted. The ability to open. Dewine was supposed to announce dates for amusement parks on Thursday but did not. If they didn't sue who knows when they were going to be able to open.

If you take the number back to the 65+ number that I originally said, the percentage will increase again. That is just the stats. Again if you are under the age of 65 the risk of dying to coronavrius is minuscule.

I think that person was specifically saying you, yourself has a higher chance to die of a car crash than to coronavirus. Unless you are over the age of 65 you have a super low chance of dying to coronavirus. Whats capacity? I worked at Kings Island when we had 65,000 people in the park which was about 7 years ago and the water park was not open.

How has the park enforced the smoking only in designated areas rules? People are just going by track record of the park.

I don't think anyone in this thread said they were not going to follow park rules. The recent discussion was about Dewine hovering over Kings Island and following all their moves when there are clearly much bigger issues at hand.
