BAFFD was on Mother's Day a couple years back and I am telling you that the place was dead! Hop right off and on FOF with no problems, went the same day LAST year and all heck broke loose! Couldnt see in front of you! Place was packed! I am afraid to say but mothers day or no mothers day, the place will be hoping! I shall go anyway, nothing like a crowd will keep me away from that place!

The pictures of "The Bat" on that site are unreal! I have seen it in person, but never got to ride it. It's crazy looking at the loading station and think of The Vortex!

DUDE! I was right there with you! Waited for a long time just to see the pre-show! And then the Pre-show BROKE in the middle of viewing it and everyone started laughing! Outside in the line, they were selling Hot Choc like crazy! There was a Ride Supervisor (I think) who tried to get the line to do the wave but nobody would play along. She was pretty funny the whole time trying to lighten the mood. Anyone know who I am talking about? She always seems to hang around the newer rides at the beginning of the season.....anyone?

Sure, the game was a bit corny, but I didnt see who it was hurting? You guys who run the boards come off as a bunch of "power hungry gods"! Even to this day, I still cant believe how you let a "where in the park would you have sex" topic be ALLOWED on this "family website" and LOCK a topic only after 4 posts which had names of items found at the park mixed up for others to figure out. Does that make since to ANY of you? I always had this thought of this poor kid showing his father this website for the first time and when he hit the front page, he found a topic about having sex in the park? I mean PLEASE people!!

The round up and the Electric rainbow are pretty much the same....the round up is a little smaller. I remember seeing it in pieces when I visited there last season. That is one of my fav rides so I was a little bummed to find it broken down (and no, I was NOT the person that asked if it would open later in the day!) What I am thinking of spun around like the round up, but never left the ground, and the floor just dropped of because you were stuck to the side. I think I might be losing my mind maybe?

Did KI ever have a ride like the Electric Rainbow at Americana? But from what I have heard, it didnt go up in the air, just around in a very fast circle and the floor would drop out. Any ideas? And what was The smurf ride called before it had smurfs in it? Bill

You all forgot the best part! The campground has a shuttle from the Check in house right to the very front of the park! Nothing wrong with walking out your tent, hoping on a little bus that drop you off right at the front door!! Plus you get to see the park from a different point of view just a bit!

Good find on that Enquirer story Beastlydude. I remember that happening and I was going to back you up on it. No longer need to!

You need to understand that the fast pass system at Six Flags is not free. But whatever the price, worth every penny in my eyes. You go ahread and wait the 3 hours to ride, I will spend the $10 extra and hop right on! To each his own I guess!

HAD to reply. The way that Six Flags up north does fast past just blew me away! You get a pager and the pager goes off when it is time to ride a certain ride. The only thing I would change is if they let the coaster fill up first with the people waiting in line and then fill in any empty seat with the fast passers, we would ALL get along! I hate being called a LINE JUMPER when I did NOTHING wrong in the first place!

Mine would be zeppcrazy named after the greatest band in the world, Led Zeppelin!

Well, I know alot of people knock it, but in my eyes, the six flags up north near Cedar Point RULES! They have some sweet coasters and there fast pass system ROCKS!! PKI could take some lessons from them! Bill

I took my 5 year old there on Fathers Day of that year! One of the BEST days I EVER spent with my little one. We got to ride the scrambler and Tilt A Whirl as much as we wanted! They kept saying we could stay on if we wanted. You are right, most of the people running the show just flat out sucked, but for the most part, we had a GREAT day! I really want it to open back up so we can go back and do it again! She is older now, maybe I can get her to start feeling the love of coasters, like her daddy! HEHE

I seen Def Leppard there as well as Weird Al this past season. The place was maybe only half full at the most. Def Leppard put on a GREAT show. The place is very outdated, Would be nice if they got rid of the bench seats they have now and make it look more like a Riverbend seat wise. The person in charge of taking pictures for the band was even making fun of the place on the bands website. Check it out! Also features pics from that show!
