On Topic: I believe if they painted FD Black and Pink, the coaster would go alot faster. Also someone mentioned FOF needing a paint job, How do you know it needs painting when it's for the most part DARK in there?

I'm hoping they'll put the Dyson Blade dryers (like in the restrooms by DB) in all the restrooms. The amount of paper towels used is ridiculous! Maybe it would make up for the tree murders some people seem upset about. HTCO, thanks for the pic..... 'cause twitter is EVIL!!!

I agree with all of you. This thread: OFFICIAL! Son of Beast Will NOT Operate in 2010 just keeps popping up with new posts. Given that the 2010 season has come/gone and obviously people still want to post about SOB, I'm just trying to save new readers from going through 77 pages. Geez moods sure seem to go down hill around here during the off-season.

Since the beginning of October, there have been 4 pages of comments regarding rumors about SOB on the 2010 thread. So obviously people do have things to say about SOB. I'm just trying to save new readers from having to go through 77 pages of comments. Your welcome!

Given that 2010 is officially over and 77 pages of rumors and thoughts have been expressed, I thought it would be a good time to start this thread so readers could get more current scoops about any SOB rumors.

What Creature Thing? I believe it was supposed to be "The Beast". Did you ride Beast during Halloween Haunt? If you did, you HAD to see it, there were bright lights on a figure that looked like.... a "Beast". Because the coaster tracks that the figure was right next to was "The Beast", I'm guessing it was supposed to be a... well maybe..... a BEAST!!! Of course I'm just guessing though.

One of my favorites is this great big ol' wooden coaster they seem to be keeping stored behind Thunder Alley and beside Flight Deck.

From the looks of the photos the trees were in planters that were obviously planned and planted there like any landscaping. It's not like were talking about 100 year old oak trees is it?

Funny Stuff!!!! Perhaps next season they could hire someone to stand at the exit and describe what the Crypt USED to do when it was a cool ride!

How about the Crypt during October weekends? That must have been CRAZY with all the people excited to ride the only scary themed thrill ride in the park during the Haunt! Oh...wait.....nevermind.

I would bet the EASIEST ride for ops to work at this year was Son Of The Beast!!! Talk about low pressure.

Has anyone caught wind(seeker) of when Cedar Point and Carrowinds is scheduled to open in 2011? I don't understand why all Cedar Fair parks wouldn't open on the same day, is this something new? This end of April news is really sad because 51/2 months sounds a whole lot shorter than 6 months!

Still laughing...Funny post I have to say though in August of last year a park employee told me he didn't think SOB would be open this season. So would ya mind sharing your Powerball picks?

Before anything else, I truly hope he is OK. Isn't it interesting that this thread started long ago with many people being concerned that someone in KI would get hurt as a result of this HPB show? People of questionable character and restraint were going to watch the show, get worked up into an uncrontrolled frenzy, and then file out into the park and reak havoc on all of us unsuspecting patrons. Kind of ironic that the only HPB related injury reported (has anyone heard of any others?) was one of the actors. What happened at the barbed wire, office supply of death match? Any staplers or barbed wire injured?
