  1. well it looks like i dont have to worry about going thru... i will be working in slaughterhouse this year... oh the irony... and i was informed the chicken feathers are real. thanks gator for the info. and i agree mixing a little bit of humor with the scare factors is amusing and alot of people respond to it..except when the humor involves clowns... *shivers* i hate clowns... the only thing that REALLY makes me freak out.. took a tour last year of haunt before season started, to study sets and learn theater techiques for school. first thing my class did was go through carnevil, i thought, okay this wont be too bad theres no actors and not many props were around and she was gonna keep the lights on..so i figured i was safe... till i rounded a corner and they kicked on the music (carnival music is creepy i dont care what anyone says) and i come up on the clown figures in the cut out in the wall... i screamed, droped to the fetal position and screamed for someone to GET ME OUT!! NOW!!!! one of my girlfriends helped me up and told me, we were gonna find an exit... i found the exit, reached my hand out to go and she jerks me the other way and made me go through again... needless to say it didnt help my phobia.. but they got a good laugh out of me.
  2. my boyfriend and i went through all of the attractions last year except slaughterhouse ... he has sever allergys and we heard people talking about chicken feathers and animals... can someone give me details about what goes on in slaughterhouse so we can decide is we're going to go through this year??? i was dying to but i wouldnt go with out him..
