  1. Ill go past rides as a youngster I loved Days of Thunder and Smurf ride.
  2. Saturdays high is supposed to be 71 low of 57 so I would think after 12 or 1 is should be pretty busy. No harm no foul were all on here to help each other. Ill keep my fingers crossed for a slow weekend
  3. Oh yeah i think fridays low is in the 40s so we will be dressed for it. ill keep my finngers crossed for light crowds
  4. The only day im going to be able to go to the Haunt is this Friday I know its going to be chilly but how do you guys think the crowds will be. We plan on doing a few rides and a few thing haunt attractions. Is the fact its Friday and cold going to help and also I think the answer is no but does will our Gold PAsses get us into the early?
  5. At 2 The Beast the wait is about 10 to 15 miniets
  6. Barely to tall for Drop Tower wouldn't latch this was was a lot more fun as a kid hopefully I'm good from here on out
  7. Sorry I'm walking and typing my phones autocorrect sucks
  8. So fR most rides are a 20 miniets wait at most everything seems to be moving pretty smooth. Diamondback maybe. 30 to 40 miniet wait. I don't think Vortex or WindSeeker are operating yet. Croud looks pretty small, so far
  9. Thanks atleast I know im not goin crazy. And i hope i havent got that fat since october. I know a lot of rides arent made for taller people.
  10. I also just had a problem on fof wasn't able to ride fof i was in the front of a car is it just me or does the front seats have less room I guess todays not my day but ill keep trying only had to wait 10 miniets
  11. Nope perfectly friendly

Everytime i check the weather its different im just gonna hope it rains a few times drives people away and everyride is almost walk on eighter way im gonna have fun tomorrow plus its my birthday and im not gonna be at work and me and the wife get a well deserved date day.
  15. I like the family idea but still cater to the teens and adults who spend there money as well. I agree 2 rides for adults is a little disappointing. Plus Invertigo and Diamondback are a good distance away from each other. Add 2 more coasters like The Beast, Vortex or fof and it would be perfect. Last year I rode diamond back right before the park opened I rode The Vortex walked to fof and had to wait 45 miniets. I know every ride can't be open but find a happy median.
  16. I'll agree with you and you make a some really good points. You've got to adapt to your customers needs and wants. It does give family a better chance to hit a lot of rides before they have to stand in line all day. Bein 3 hours away I don' t get to see much if the new marketing campaign. I do like the extended time it let's you take your time and you won't have to rush as much. Since my daughters only 3 and we've not taken her yet I guess I haven't had to chance to appreciative it as much. I most small kids won't make it thru the afternoon and evening. I guess im just impatient I'd like to hit the busiest rides before they open that way we can take our time. But I k.ow well go on boo blaster during the ert I do enjoy it. Only down side is I'm not crazy over Invertigo kinda makes me sick.
  17. So one of the perks of being a season pass member was the early ride times right? But looking at line up I cant help but feel a little maybe they did us a little dirty. Early rides include: Diamondback, Invertigo, Eiffel Tower, Flying Ace Aerial Chase, Woodstock Whirlybirds, Boo Blasters on Boo Hill, Linus’ Launcher, Great Pumpkin Coaster, Charlie Brown’s Wind Up and Surf Dog. Now does the list of rides change at all or it set for the entire year. Now last year if im not mistaken was The Beast one of the early rides? Like i said im a little dissapointed but I guess ill be riding Diamondback as many times as i can in an hour then its off the The Beast then to The Vortex. The upside is fridays only 2 days away.

Yeah that's how I look at it SOB was also fun in a little rain and at night. I'm excited to go. If its slow and rainy do they keep the Congo open?

Thanks for the input like I said I'm goin regardless the wife don't wanna get rained on to bad but with or without rain I think fridays is the best day to go kids are still in school and most people would be at work and with the weather its probably gonna keep big crowds from visiting . One of my favorite KI memorys is riding The Vortex with my dad at night in the rain rode it 8 times in a row and never had to get up. The only down side is ill be wearing wet shoes and socks all day but it'll be worth it.
  22. So I know its hard to predict but I'm 3 hours from KI do you guys think Friday is worth making the trip I see its has a 50% chance of rain I bought ponchos rain doesn't really bother me I but I don't wanna go and have lightning or all day heavy rain ruin my trip I've got gold passes so were only out food and gas I could go Saturday or Sunday but fridays the best day for us I figure Friday and rain should result in little wait time.
  23. I know im a little late on the topic but last year during a visit in August we bought a drink in a souviner cup they filled it with ice water all day for free. I know im goin this friday on my birthday and i cant wait Im hoping lines will be minimal. It looks like the rain may avoid KI
  24. So i know its still early but im already looking foward to the park being open, I seen the parks open on my birthday friday may 4th. What kind of attendence should i expect. Also sine we do have season passes when would be the best days for some visits,
  25. So will a valid season pass get you into the haunt after 7. Or is a pay to enter only after 7. I know the reentry to to keep people from drinking there own beer in the parking lot but didnt know it pass holders got special privilage. This makes my 50th post only a few thousand more and ill be caught up the the vets!
