So ive never visited ki during September or October. My question is how are the wait times i know the hours of operation in my opinion it does seem like 7pmk to 1 am is worth it> I would probably do the 11 to 1am How are lines in the evening time is it still busy around 1am?

Ok better late than never right? I have to say all and all had a good trip. The longest wait was about 45 miniets for Flight of Fear. We started our day off on the Diamondback. Only about a 15 miniet wait and I have to say it really Set the bar high. ( I liked all the cell phones in the clear box) Next we kit the Crypt only because there was no line and and every visit its been broke down. Kinda disapointing because it didnt last long. Then we spent about 15 miniets waiting on our front row seat for The Beast. Next we stopped by the Adventure Express were we walked right on. We made our way to the WindSeeker only for it to be stuck up at the top. We made our way to the FoF for what felt like a half hour wait. We made our way to The Racers and we wait about 15 miniets and to me that was a suprise. Then we decieded to eat Skyline and we got the 10 dallor refillable cup and we got free ice water all day wich was well worth it with the heat. After Lunch we walked strait on to Flight Deck and then decieded it was time to ride Delirium was about a 25 miniet wait. Them I made the mistake or riding Invertigo. It seemed way rougher than last time we visited. Felt like i kinda bounced around in it and im no small person. It left me a little dizzy. After the went back to the Best and was on it pretty fast. To beat the heat we hit the Boo Blaster were i scored a cool 1300 points vs the wifes 300. Then I conned the wife into riding Congo Falls and the The log ride were she got soaked. After that we rode the train. We ate Dinner at Rivertown Junction Dining Hall was a little on the high side but we took our time and were outta the heat. From there we hit The WindSeeker waited about 30 miniets and personally i didnt care for it. It didnt help I didnt deel like my harness locked all the way and they said they thought it did and I should be ok kinda turned me off a little. We set by The Vortex and watched some guys try to win Jerseys at the Sprite 3 point shot thing. Was pretty entertaining. We finally made our way to the Firehawk and FoF one last time and decieded to call it a night about 9:30. I think I may have craked a rib on eighter Invertigo or our last ride on the FoF. I didnt feel good ofter lunch so I could have hurt before lunch but up until lunch i felt pretty good. FoF felt like our second rides car was smaller but we had a good time and once I heal back up were planning again for October. Thanks

My dad always liked to sit 1 seat in front of the last car but i think im gonna try to sit in the front seat as much as I can but if i get to ride mutiple times i may set in the back but big drops are fun when your in the first seat but thats my opinion.

So as ive stated before im making my return to KI this wednesday after about a 4 year absense. Im gonna attempt to take as many pictures as possible to post on here but theres always the chance I wont remember to. Now the last new ride I rode was Firehawk. So bedides the Diamondback and windseaker what have I been missing out on? What do you guys recomend.riding first my plan was The Vortex but thats been idea doesnt matter do u start on somthing small the the advenure express or do u run to Diamondback or the Flight of Fear?

About 6 or 7 years ago my aunt who was about 60 loved going to Kings Island. She loved walking around and all the other things the older crowed does. If I can remember right it was hot like its recently been. She ended up having i believe a heartattack and she was kept alive until she arrived at the hospital. But like i said she loved visiting KI.

I know i just watched the Brady Bunch Episode were they kent ti KI and its amazing how much has evolved since then

Well now your getiing me scarred im 6"1 299 im no terribly big. I cansuck in my gut and look about normal. My dads about 5'8 250 and he rode Diamondback and in my own mind i think i look thinner.

I didnt know how how the waits times have been during the weeks i know kids are outta school and it may be hit or miss but i was told the better days to go are Wednesday or Thursday just wanted to get an idea. I havent been there since they opened the Firehawk so I didnt know what to expect for the Diamondback but the good news is me and the wife are going to get season passes (Platnuim)next year expecially since we can use them at Cedar Point as well. Cincys only 3 hours away. It would be nice to hit the Diamondback first thing!

Well if you see a fat guy in a braves jersey sitting outside The Vortex watching that you know its me. I love that hill climb and that little dip before the first drop itz awsome. Hopefully the diamond back isnt super busy and I can ride it 8 times in a row before closing. Im already having withdraw gotta watch the video again Well I just called and theres mo schedualed date for it to reopen guess ill make a 2nd trip around haloween. With some luck itll be open On my lunch break im gonna hook up my laptop to my tv and watch The Vortex video should be fun

When went to disney they had a fast pass you could only get 1 an hour and it was for a certine time dont remember the details that was 10 years ago

It has been a few years since ive been able to make it to KI and I had a couple of questions. I plan on going next wednesday and im hoping the heat and being the middle of the week helps me with smaller lines but my questions are Does anyone know if The Vortex has been reopened yet? It would be a trip to KI if its still down. I love The Vortex and second is the Backyard bbq worth it. Can I buy tickets at the gate for it? I assume once you leave you have to buy another ticket? And any feedback on the rivertown junction buffet?
