  1. I just went to Kings Island with my friends that work rides. They don't know for sure what this ride is going to be, but they seem to have heard a lot of rumors. They do know the announcement date. I'm not going to be the one to spill, though. Sorry, but I have to watch their backs. I will tell you that there may or may not be a day this summer that this project is announced. Plus, if the rumors they are hearing are true, many of you will be correct. Maybe even all of you. If they are true, this will be insane. As for me, I'm peacing out. Cya!
  2. Forceful rides are a lot of fun. Maverick is easily in my top 5 because of how forceful it is. "Forceless" rides can be fun as well. I think smooth is a better term to describe them. I would throw Diamondback into that category. That ride is also easily in my top 5. B&M inverts like Silver Bullet (probably top 10 for me) are smooth, fun rides that aren't as forceful as maverick but are anything but forceless. I really like SB and it is forceful enough to not be re-rideable for a few hours. While a giga like I305 would admittedly be my first choice for KI, an invert will be just as exciting. Just to throw this in, IMO Millennium Forceless was a huge letdown to me when I rode it. Diamondback beats that ride any day. I've ridden it several time and have never failed to feel disappointed.
  3. You keep bringing up "Ride, Sally, Ride." Yes, mustang was a good diversion. But who falls for the same trick twice? I propose that Don is using reverse psychology on us. He knows Terpy will keep bringing up the 2009 fiasco and is using it in his favor. This is really going to be an Owl themes ride. They've set up the theming early so they will have it finished. Average park guests will come back next year and say "Oh, THAT'S what the owls were for!" It's genius.
  4. Wow. All the rich people must come to KI.
  5. How do they strap you in for something like this?A restraint comes up and pushes down on your back, forcing you up against the motercycle. Other restraints hold your legs in place.EDIT: never mind. This one looks like it has lap bars, but that is how pony express at KBF works.
  6. Say what you want. Motocoasters are awesome. 200 foot B&M jet ski? Yes please. *gasp* maybe THAT'S B&M's next big thing! We all know that this ride won't be a prototype though.
  7. ^^^Lol no problems. I've had this name for years but I never really post on KIC. I use it many places though. Anyway, back on topic! I wanna keep lurking. EDIT: Oh look. Magically appearing posts.
  8. I feel robbed of a username. Having ridden Raptor, Batman (SFMM), and Silver Bullet, the latter is by far my favorite. I love the unique combination of elements and the high positive g's around the last helix over the water.
  9. Never posted before but this is killing me I've read pretty much this entire thread. I'm pretty dang sure this will be an invert. At first I was a little disappointed about this, but then I rode Silver Bullet and that ride is seriously awesome. It's much better than Raptor IMO. I believe it was called forceless at one point in this thread. It is anything but. That last helix could black someone out. I'm excited for next year. EDIT - Apparently I don't know how to embed.
