Kinda found this odd. On Screamscape it said that the logos on Flight Deck's trains were removed recently. If that is the case i could very well see the name being changed to "The Bat" because 1) the previous one was called that 2) if our new ride is actually named Banshee it would kinda go with the theme of the area of spooky or scary. 3) some of Dons tweets earlier in the season mentioned the old bat and flight deck. Just some food for thought.

Screamscape is now starting to believe that it will be a world record invert. 2014 - Banshee / New Coaster - Rumor - (6/27/13) While our last source seemed fairly certain the new Kings Island coaster would be a Wing design, all the latest rumors come back to what I was thinking I would build if I ran the park… a world record breaking B&M Inverted coaster.

^^Your conclusion that my conclusion is ridiculous is wrong. Usually in an interview, especially w/ major ride manufacturers, if an interviewer asks about ride developments and the rep answers about it saying something like "we are working to do this" (ex b&m saying they are ready to do a launch coaster) then it is at least a few years from debuting. when they simply say "no comment" it usually means that they are trying to not ruin a new ride for the general public. So my conclusion was not ridiculous. That is all.

I remember watching an interview with either Mr. bolliger or mallibard (cant remember which one) from iaapa last year and the guy interviewing him asked about the possibility of loop(s) going into their hyper/giga coasters. His response to the question was simply that he didnt want to comment. That obviously means that a project is in the works for this type of thing. I think that this kinda ties into a post from earlier about a guy on youtube who claims to have blueprints for it. His claim is that it is a b&m giga with some sort of dive in it. I think a 300 ft coaster with loops, dives, etc would be awesome. Also i dig a little deeper in that construction company and found that it is indeed a concrete company based in mason. Their speciality is apparently homes, so my thought is that they are just maybe working on the foundation for the station because it is basically a sort of larger building. Idk, this is just my two cents.

Has any one seen the 2012 attendence report for theme parks? If you have then you know that Kings Island is neck and neck w/ Cedar Point. By like 15,000 guests. Now i know that this is after a year where there were no new attractions to both parks (water park excluded). Obviously for Cedar Point's attendance will go up because of Gatekeeper. Now i am only telling about this because if ki was to put in a wing rider like cp then the attendence figures would not really change. Cedar Point, to my surprise is ranked lower than two other cf parks (canadas wonderland and knotts). After cw installed their b&m giga their population increase was by 5%. Cw is actually the leader in Cedar Fair's park attendence. The point i'm getting at is that cp is probably not too happey that 2 of their other parks are above them in attendence and one is trailing behind them very closely. I dont think they are gonna build something like a giga or a wing b/c i think they are aiming at getting cp back on top. I believe in the invert idea because i think it would be a cool addition to the park. It isnt too extraordinary to be like "first in the industry" but a cool addition that alot of parks alreday have and somehow we don't. Hey guys! My first post here, but have been reading these posts basically from day 1 of this thread and have actually learned a lot. Through reading this thread i have noticed one option that has almost been completely ignored. What if there was a coaster being relocated between Cedar Fair or outside of cf parks. Do we know of any rumors of a removal of any coasters? I am only saying this b/c we really don't know what company or type of coaster we are getting for sure yet.
