How does the drop off area work?

Are tickets usually cheaper at Kroger or at the KI website. We are going on a Monday so we would get the weekday saver. We live a few hours away. Also, what's a good time to get to the park in the morning? Thanks!

What rides close down due to rain? The day were are going is June 30 and there is a good chance of rain. Also what's the best place to find Kings Islands forecast? Do any rides close due to wind? The wind on that day should be between 5-10mph.

How often is it that a ride is closed for a whole day or majority? Which ride tends to break down the most, and is Vortex really as rough as everyone says? I have a weird feeling that one of the best rides will be broken down when we go on June 30 and this is our first time because we live 4 hours away! Thanks.

yes but many of the comments were about one hotel that doesn't fit what we need

We are traveling on July 21st which is a Monday and need a hotel for the night of the 20. We have a group of 5 and would like to keep the price under 130$ and prefer any hilton, marriott or ihg brand. Also somewhere within 30 miles. Also do hotels offer any packages with tickets? Out of 5 only 4 of us are visiting the park. We've never been so what are Mondays in July like crowd wise? Thanks!
