  1. Fellow park fans, I apologize in advance for this absolute newbie question. This will be my first time attending an event like this other than the Discovery Channel filming of the Son of Beast, but that was a single event. Anyway.... I am not sure what this event is supposed to look like. I assume a gate will be open around 7:30 to let us in to park, but where do we gather to enter the park at 8ish. Do we receive our T-Shirts during the sign in process before entering the park? ERT is from 8 to 10 in the Action Zone, then do we reconvene somewhere around Banshee at 11 to begin the behind the scenes tour? I assume wearing our CoasterStock T-Shirts may help identify the participants from regular park guests. How long is the actual Banshee tour? I can't imagine it being 3 hours. Where is Dinner being served at 5:30 and is it necessary to be there at 5:30? Are we simply park guests between 7:30 and 10:00. Is there a particular place to meet before participating in the evening ride time events? One more thing, I have a one page ticket each for me and my wife. That ticket works for both days, correct? Do we expect to keep the ticket to use again for Sunday's admission to CoasterStock? Again, I am sorry there are so many questions, but I don't want to miss anything that I might enjoy, especially looking forward to Beast BTS on Sunday. Thinking about doing the Tuesday event as well. Any info you can provide would be fantastic. Thanks for your time.
  2. I know someone who works at Clermont. Is it against the rules of this community to talk to said person in a leisurely manner and said topic?
  3. Wild Beast at Canada's Wonderland last year was pretty rough, thought the trains were going to fall apart. It seems they have done some retracking, hope it helps.
  4. Banshee - front row DBack - Backish, like the pull Beast - Backish again. I love being in the back watching the train and people in front me all screaming in reckless abandon, especially in between the helix tunnels. The train is out of control. Also love how loud the train is exiting the 2nd tunnel. I like how KI has The Beast "tuned" right now. It feels fast despite some trims. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I don't think putting a coaster over the front gate makes any sense either, knowing all of the existing infrastructure around there, it would be a difficult decision what to remove. International Street is special with the fountain, putting a coaster in would detract from the theme. It ain't broke. so don't fix it. Anyone see the rebuilt Shake Rattle and Roll with all of it's LED glory, holy cow. I really like it. Reminds me of what Cedar Point did with the Gemini midway last year. Hope to meet some of you at CoasterStock soon. So looking forward to The Beast behind the scenes. Hard to see but my avatar is a pic of us holding the origianal Banshee sign model from the Cedar Point print and model shop near MeanStreak.
  6. Can't believe that I am just now joining this group. Anyway, I was somewhat disappointed when KI announced that Banshee would be an inverted coaster. I thought a giga would be the right choice to compliment what SOB was trying to accomplish. Having ridden Banshee multiple times, I change my mind. I just assumed that the trains would be just iike Raptor and any other B&M inverted coaster that I have ridden. Pleasantly surprised to see the Gatekeeper restraints, tight but more comfortable overall. I wonder if there is discussion about doing something with KI's front gate area, similar to what Gatekeeper and now Fury 325 have done. It would certiainly be a very difficult task to get a track over the front gate and back to where ever the station would be, not much room, unless they unload Invertigo. It wasn't running both Fridays we were there so far in 2015. Anyone going to CoasterStock? I will probably ask the same question in the meetup area.
