DaleE4lifefan Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 what if you worked at pki and they asked you for a idea for a new area and rides.what name would you pick and what type of rides would you pick. Quote
skatefanjeff Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 I would like too see either an Egyptian theme, or a 50's theme. The Egytian theme would have a B and M hyper, twisting around pyramids and stuff. There would also be some type of Pyramid dark ride experience. The 50's theme would have a classic american and classic car theme, diffrent types of cars, especially bel airs littred around the area, an ice cream shop, elvis music playing( We'll even throw in the Beatles even though there from the sixties, but who cares they are the greatest.) The Main ride would be an Intamin launch, with trains that look like 56 Bel Airs. This is basically like the theme of Xcelerator, but the whole area will be themed to it, and the rocket coaster would be much much better, Probaly non inverting, but lots of overbanks, bunny hills, a ride kinda like Xcelerator mixed with Expedition G-Force. As for the names i dunno, just two themes I would like too see. Quote
docdude316 Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 I think with FOF being over by itself that a Sci-Fi themed area is the obvious choice. Plus with the Star Trek theme being a success at Carowinds it'd be awesome to see a Star Trek coaster here too. Quote
italianchef Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Since PKI is a Paramount park, I would like to see a Star Trek themed area with: - an indoor coaster more advanced than FoF - at least one ride simulator - a live show with performers dressed as Star Trek characters - a restaurant that offered items like Vulcan veggie burger - a gift shop that sells Star Trek videos, clothes, toys, etc. Have a great day!
