First of all, this is my second visit to Cedar Point ever. My first visit was in 2003.

All summer I begged to go to CP. My dad agreed to take me, my sister, and her friend. I was going to take a friend but none could go. We left my Dad's house sometime around 7AM. We stopped at Kroger and got some drinks and snacks. The drive there was really fun, and we got there in about 4 1/2 hours. So around noon Cedar Point came into site. I was soooooooooooo anxious to re-ride some of my favorite coasters and ride some new ones! My Dad booked a room at Hotel Breakers, so we got to drive on Perimeter road, the great views made me even more excited! We arrived at the hotel's parking lot, and my Dad went inside to get a cart. I stepped out of the car for some fresh air and enjoyed the view of Magnum and TTD. We went to our room really quick and ate some lunch. I ate very fast so I could hurry up and go to the park!

We entered through the Soak City entrance, and went towards Maverick to find a huge line so we instead rode Mean Streak which was new for me. Although it's not near my favorite woodie, it's better than I thought it'd be. I heard Skyhawk making a 'thrust' noise and wanted to ride it. They were only running one swing and the queue was filled so it took close to an hour to ride, but it was worth it. We walked around and ended up inline for Power Tower Launch (I have yet to ride to drop side for some reason...) I really don't know who wanted to ride Iron Dragon, but for some reason we got in line. It may be an okay ride at night, but really It's just a little too boring for me. We walked to Millennium Force to find an almost full queue, so we looked over at Mantis, the line said "45 Minutes" so we went to the hotel room for a break.

For some odd reason we went out the Main entrance... only to remember were staying at Hotel Breakers! So we rode Demon Drop real quick (Love this ride!) than we went to the room. I ate a little bit of food than went and looked at the beach and pool, it was starting to get chilly and cloudy, which is usual for Cedar Point. My Dad called me and told me to come back to the room since were about to go back to the park. My sister and her friend decided to stay at the room and go swimming. So me and my Dad walked into the park, on the 'boardwalk' we could see Wicked Twister, I have already ridden it but my Dad hadn't so he really wanted to ride it. We walked towards it and luckily it was a walkon! I love Wicked Twister's location! My Dad wanted to ride what he called 'the indoor coaster' thinking it was going to be like what he still calls 'The Outer Limits.' The line was unbearable and hot. After about 40 minute we go on. Although it isn't the best coaster at the park, I think it's under rated and a really fun ride.

By now it was almost dark outside, My sister and her friend came into the park and met up with us. They wanted to ride MaXair cause they love Delirium so much. The line was only about 10 minutes so why not!? I liked MaXair better than Delirium, it seemed to swing higher and was much more intense! We pretty much rode everything in that area in the park so we walked over to Raptor. The queue was filled but we got in anyways. After about an hour, we were the next ones to get on the front seat of Raptor! I had yet to ride it because last visit (2003) I wasn't tall enough. Raptor was awesome, tough choice weather I liked Montu or Raptor better (Batman is good but not this good!) It was about 30 minute til' the park closed so we ran to Top Thrill Dragster. My sister dropped my camera putting it into a locker.... Last time I was here we waited close to four hours for TTD, this time we waited around 20 minutes! Me and my Dad sat next to each other in the second to last seat. Most people call TTD a one trick pony, well although it kinda is,,; the one trick it does is AMAZING! The park just closed so we went back to the room. I called my best friend (Gnarkiller on KIC) and told him about my day since he couldn't come. Than I looked out the window and stared at Millennium Force.

After a good sleep, my Dad woke me up around 8am. My sister and her friend must of stayed up all night cause they wouldn't wake up. We just left them in the room (were so nice...) and walked to the entrance. We were one of the first ones there. Once they dropped the rope to let us begin ERT, we ran to Maverick. We were one of the first there, and only had to wait 10 minutes for the front seat! I was so excited to finally ride Maverick after hearing so many good reviews on it. When our train (Bart?) was almost to the peak of the lift, we stopped and started rolling back!!!!! We slowed down some every few feet because of the lift system. We stopped all the way at the bottom where a ride operator came to us and told us that we will be relaunched. I was so happy I just got my first roll back, and it was a rare one! Maverick is my #1 coaster with Goliath at SFOG as my #2.

After buying 2 copies of our On ride photo, we walked to Millennium Force where the queue was only filled down the ramp. So we waited 10-15 minutes, and sat in the front seat. I had my camera in my pocket (Didn't wanna buy a locker) and it almost fell out so in my on ride photo I look dumb only having one hand up since the other hand is in my pocket. The park was just about to open to the general public so we walked to Mantis and they let us and some other ERTers on. We only waited 1 train for the back. Mantis is a pretty good coaster, I don't care for the ride after the MCBR though. Me and my dad decided to go wake up my sister and her friend, and we all rode MaXair again. Than we rode Blue Streak. We waited an hour for the back. As we were going up the lift hill, I was hoping we'd get stuck. And what do you know happens, we got stuck! At the same time we stopped, Raptor also stopped on the MCBR, so it must of been something to do with the power going out. Some guy stood up as we were stopped and said "Tickets to Cedar Point: $42.00, Waite for roller coaster: 1 hour, getting stuck on the roller coaster: Priceless!" And everyone just kinda looked at him weird and no one laughed at his failed joke.

I The only coasters I didn't ride was Gemini, Jr. Gemini, Wildcat, Woodstock Express, Corkscrew, and Magnum. So we wanted to ride Magnum, Gemini, and Corkscrew the most. We rode Corkscrew first in the second to last seat, I got tons of airtime and it was really smooth! Than we rode Magnum XL-200. It was only a station wait and we had a great bruise-free ride! We were going to ride Gemini but it started pouring and my sister and her friend kept yelling about the rain and wanted to go home. So we went to the hotel and ate some nasty pizza hut. I bought a souvenir park map poster. My Dad said me and him were going to come back to the park for another 3 hours, but he decided to just go home instead since the weather was getting bad.

Overall, this visit was much better than my last visit and I can not wait to come back next year for Coaster Mania!
