The Interpreter
I'm sure if Cedar Fair can figure out any way, they will vote for more per caps. There's debt to be paid!
Racerrider
I'm sure if Cedar Fair can figure out any way, they will vote for more per caps. There's debt to be paid! not as much debt as 6flags is facing, i'd like to see Cedar Fair buy great adventure, magic mountain ,sf over texas and 6flags fiesta texas in the next few years
The Interpreter
At last report, Six Flags debt was $2.1 billion, scheduled to be paid off over many, many years. In the last quarter, it had a net loss of about $45 million. This loss was about 54 cents per share, and Six Flags paid no dividend. Cedar Fair debt is $1.8 billion, scheduled to be completely paid off in about four years. In its last quarter, it had a net loss of about $55 million. It lost about $1.02 per unit, but paid out income (which it borrowed money to do) of $0.47 per unit. How smart that is is for others to say. (I'd say it is wacky!) Both companies would rather you looked at their EBITDA, earnings BEFORE interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization. I don't see either company in the park acquisition business any time soon. Delirium13
I voted for more mazes, but then I realized what they really need is more scareactors. They have seemed to be spread very thin the past few years. So maybe if they had a few less mazes, but made the mazes they did have really scary, packed with scareactors, and a little bit longer. Headless Hollow and Pyscho Path were jokes last year, in my opinion, and the actors from those haunts could be put to better use. I want to see higher quality haunts more than a higher quantity of haunts. Now if they could do both that would be great.
