I was looking at the FearFest web site, and I saw a tab for their Hearse.

I kind of remember the hearse visiting local area high school football games last year. Kind of like a promotional tour for Fearfest.

I just checked out the hearse.... seems like a pretty cool promotional gimmick.... personally I think they should have several.... perhaps they could even take it to a hill somewhere and park and let a casket roll out as a big publicity stunt....

on a side note i noticed on the thrill ride list for Fearfest Son of Beast isn't listed... i know the last time I went to FearFest there was a sign that it was closed for winter rehab.... is this the "norm"?

Well last year it was closed because of the track modification. Also note that Firehawk is not listed to be open during FF.

saddly i would say it's been about 3 years since i've to Kings Island for Fearfest..... that's when SOB was still loopy and it would of been my last chance to ride it as it was.... i have been to ki since just not for fearfest.... speaking of fearfest i wish Dollywood would do something.... you know how scary some hillbilly's can be..... shew i know i would be scared.... i always try to find the creepiest haunted house in the most redneck towns...

I'm willing to bet anything that you're correct. That site seems to fit Fearfest '06 like a glove.

That would be correct, more then likely SOB and Firehawk will be open during FF. Unless SOB closes early for the season which it has before. But since it didn't open till July I would be surprised if they shut it down early.

I don't know if KI's Haunt site will be like this or not, but Knott's has updated a "placeholder" site for their Halloween Haunt up at:
