OK- I apologize if this has already been discussed but here goes.

What's the deal with the Air Conditioning unit at the top of the Eiffel Tower? Where does it actually go/cool off? If it is trying to cool the park they had beeter get a larger unit because anyone who was there yesterday, today, or tomorrow can attest... it ain't workin........

Also, is there anything else up there? There seems to be ample room above the top deck for other things.

I was once told that there was an additional room up at the top of the Eiffel Tower. I believe it was access to the communications equiptment or so, as of now however, I believe it has since been abandoned and is currently unused. In talking to a member of maintainence, I was told of parties that had been had up there in years past in the off season. All I remember was something about a couch and a keg.

I thought everyone knew that's where the Hunchback of Kings Island stays...

I honestly have no idea, but I'll throw a wild stab at it.

My guess is that there is some type of control room at the top of the tower. Perhaps for the elevators, or the lighting system requiring AC units to keep the room in a controlled climate.

Excessive heat + heavily used computers= bad things.

Ding! Ding! Ding! As a former Tower sup, that is exactly right. And there is NO room for couch or keg anywhere up there, other than on the platform guests have access too....
