Also read some of the comments that Australians had to say at the bottom of the page. Sounds like those in the media are questioned there as bad in Australia as they are questioned here.

I don't know much about the care of exotic animals, but how does a rhino eat 70 lbs. of sand, as well as be very pregnant, and the zoo keepers have no idea? Why would a rhino be put on a diet while prenant? And if she seemed as depressed as the zoo keepers claimed (can you imagine the psychiatric couch for that visit! ) why did they not do a full medical test on her?
