Beast1979
I still blame Six Flags for the Down fall of GL. . (I am not relating this to GL at all): I wonder what it would be like if Six Flags aquired KI! Just imagine it: Six Flags Worlds of Adventure 2; or Six Flags Over Ohio! What a train wreck that would be!

The Interpreter
Charles J. Jacques, Jr., a noted theme park authority who has written numerous books, has a more detailed (and different) explanation, which has a link in this thread: http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?...c=10894&hl=

They spent it all on rides, but didn't spend dick on any of the little things. Cedar Fair made the right decision, it is more lucrative to dismantel the park and sell the rides than to try to renew GL.
