Cincinnati Zoo opens new 4-D Special FX Theater

Recommended Posts

I couldn't find this any where on the search so I thought I would post it. Maybe they will add future 'theme park attractions' to the zoo.

NEW!

4-D Special FX Theater

NOW OPEN!

"Cincinnati First Zoo in the Country Opening 4-D Theater

Presented By Coldwell Banker West Shell

You'll see it. You'll move with it. You'll taste it and you'll even smell it. Believe it or not, it will even touch you. This fall, experience a NEW 4-D Special FX Theater only at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. Digital 3-D visual effects coupled with 4-D environmental effects, such as wind, scents and other amazing surprises will leave you on the edge of your seat.

"Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is the only zoo in the country where guests can enjoy this level of interactive experience," said Marty Desrochers, Manager of Operations for SimEx Iwerks. "There are six in-seat effects and many other in-theater effects that draw the audience onto the screen and into the 3D movie. It's an amazing experience."

From the Cinci Zoo website: "The Cincinnati Zoo will kick off the opening of its new theater with a double feature showing Dino 4-D and Funhouse 4-D, which will be presented daily throughout October."

Now where have I seen that "Fun House" video before? Hmmmm :)
