Beast1979 Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 I noticed that SFOG considers Mindbender to be the first coaster to have 3 loops because of a Diagonal Plunge! Personaly I think this is crazy but, some people are different than others. If this is true, than doesn't Milenium Force have a loop? What are your opinions? Thank you! Quote
DropZone99 Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Mind Bender has an element kind of like a rose bowl. Back then it was counted as a loop. There is only 2 inversions though. By the way Mindbender is an awesome ride, one of my favorites! Quote
ahank Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 No, It shouldnt be that way, Millenium Force + a "loop"= The worlds end Quote
The Interpreter Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 ...which doesn't even compare to what Six Flags Great America claimed about Raging Bull while it was being built and before it opened, inclined loops: http://www.coasterphotos.com/SFGAm/sfgamnews.htm#news1 Yeah, right. Quote
tiggerow@bright.net Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 So if they count a verticle drop as an inversion then Top Thirll Dragster has a loop, right? Quote
tubaman Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 I must say, that that coaster is an amazing ride. Quote
Beast1979 Posted October 3, 2007 Author Posted October 3, 2007 So if they count a verticle drop as an inversion then Top Thirll Dragster has a loop, right? I belive so, if your going by that rule. I think that if you don't flip over 360 degrees, it's not a loop. Quote
befat Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 Six Flags unveils The Riddler Mindbender roller coaster It's pretty cool to see a park invest in an old steel coaster. 1 Quote
