Halloween Haunt at Kings Island Opens to Rave Reviews

Park guests impressed with all-new Halloween event

Kings Island, Ohio – From twice the number of monsters and a longer haunt time until 1 a.m. to new highly-intense and terrifying attractions, the all-new Halloween Haunt at Kings Island opened to rave reviews September 28-29.

With 13 horrifying attractions geared for only the brave of heart, Halloween Haunt is the biggest Halloween event around. No one and nothing is off limits!

“The new direction with Halloween Haunt is definitely worth seeing,” KICentral.com media relations director Ryan Suhr said. “The event is certainly adult-oriented and features new must see attractions such as Club Blood and an amazing live show, Dead Awakening. When you go to this event, don’t expect to see Kings Island as you know it. Halloween Haunt is a totally unique experience in addition to the regular thrills the park provides.”

“Halloween Haunt was a fantastic Halloween event,” park guest Charles Infosino said. “There were so many offerings that I probably enjoyed no more than half of them. My favorite was Club Blood. I will be back at the park at least two more times this season for Halloween Haunt and Nick or Treat.”

“Fog is everywhere and becomes thicker and even more intimidating as the night wears on,” said Jim Massie, webmaster for Ohio Valley Haunts. “Creatures come crawling, sliding and roaming from all directions at the most unexpected moments. Eight uniquely haunted mazes, three differently themed fear zones and live attractions, combined with nearly a dozen of the world’s best thrill rides result in a night of Halloween entertainment that’s possibly unsurpassed.”

“To experience all that Halloween Haunt has to offer, I’d recommend coming on a Friday night when there aren’t as many bodies around,” Suhr said.

Gates to the underworld for Halloween Haunt are open from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. every Friday and Saturday night through October 27 and daily from 7 p.m. to midnight October 28-31.
