ssdd1970 Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 I took my family to Six Flags St.Louis this past saturday for our first time and was not impressed at all. They had a few good rides but for what you pay to get in the scales are alittle uneven. I thought the park was very small and a hellish hill to climb to get to the Superman tower which was broke down. I hope the other Six Flags are not as ghetto as St.Louis is! Quote
Braves0511 Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 I went on a band trip there a few years ago...it was ok, the thing that made it really enjoyable were the people i was with...had i been by myself or with my family, it would have been a long day...I enjoyed Mr. Freeze and the Boss...howeverr Boss was new that year and hadn't had time to be "six flagged" yet if you know what i mean... DropZone99 Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Iv'e only been to 2 Six Flags parks and that is SFKK and SFOG. SFOG is really nice and has great rides, short lines.. SFKK has bad rides and a bad atmosphere. I can't answer your question because ive never been to SFSL... but SFKK is ghetto. Quote
Touchdown Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Ive been to quite a few SF parks, heres how I rank them: Excellent Parks (you really should seek these out): -Six Flags Fiesta Texas (San Antonio, TX) -Six Flags Worlds Of Adventure (Cleveland, OH)* Very Good Parks (youll have a fun day here): -Six Flags Over Georgia (Atlanta, GA) -Six Flags Great America (Chicago, IL) Good Parks (nice parks, still worth going to): -Six Flags Over Texas (Dallas, TX) Poor Parks (overall not so fun, but have some very good rides): -Six Flags New England -Six Flags Darien Lake* Horrible Parks (Run Away, Run Away!): -Six Flags Astroworld* *-closed or no longer a Six Flags Park or both Editiors Note: I never got the problems people had with SFWOA, it had some great rides, short lines and at least when I went was well cleaned and maintained. Shame all her great rides are spread across the country (at least Firehawk is still nearby ) Quote

First off nice pic on your signiture... At Busch Gardens Williamsburg, they have a huge hill that you have to walk up. It's been a few year so I don't remember exactly where it is in the park but I remember that it took a lot out of you to climb. I remember that you had a choice of going up steps or up a path. Quote
Touchdown Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 If you are talking about the "stairway of death" at BGE, thats easily avoidable. That path is mearly a "short cut" from Scotland to the Rhineland, you can just walk around the park loop and avoid the big hill or you can take the train to Italy/New France and the Skyride to Aquataine/Rhineland Quote
