AintNutinElse2Do
There seems to be several new Theme Parks on the drawing board. Here's a short list but I'm an unable to think of all of them right now. Which concept do you like best? "Ole South USA" - www.olesouthusa.com "BibleParkUSA" - http://www.murfreesboropost.com/news.php?viewStory=3688 "Decades" - www.decadesusa.com "Main Street America"- http://archives.record-eagle.com/2007/may/31themepark.htm "Wild Escape"- http://www.crystalmountainwv.com/ "The Grand Empire" - http://themeparks.about.com/gi/dynamic/off...orldresort.com/ Anyone else know several patriotic themes or names? Out of these the one that I most look forward to if it gets off the ground is "Ole South USA" it seems like a great concept.
BoddaH1994
... no Hard Rock Park?
AintNutinElse2Do
^ well i didn't put Hard Rock Park because I knew it would probably get the most votes.... and more so because it's the only one of those to my knowledge that's definitely opening sometime in the future. The rest of the are in the concept or very very early construction/planning phase. Correct me if i'm wrong.
AintNutinElse2Do
to add--- in other words i didn't think it would be fair to put it in the same category as the others
Snake Attack!
I think that the decades park sound like a pretty cool concept. You could really get into the theming with the employees the midway and everything. The only problem I see is if they wanted to add a huge ride but it didn't quite fit in the location they had picked out. EDIT: Looking at the site I would say that they could expand and include a little more than the decades and rock and roll.
RingMaster
Well, compared to the Hard Rock Park, Decades has a few more rides (plus more water rides) than what Myrtle Beach's 'rockfest' is introducing, such as the an AC/DC coaster, the "Love Rollercoaster," a Dr. Doom's FearFall rip-off called Riders On The Storm, and several others. AintNutinElse2Do
The thing with Decades that i'm concerned with.... is that A they show a SLC but B do they have the capital to pull off the theming. I really like the concept but IMHO I doubt it will be pulled off anywhere near as good as Hard Rock Park will pull it off.
Raptor66
I like the concept for Main Street America. It is close enough so that I may be able to visit it, as my grandparents live in Manistee, only a few hours from Grayling. Plus I love the green approach for this park, how they plan to power the park with a wind farm.
