PKIVortex
I use to do it too, drive to KI from Dayton everyday for work. but this was in 1999, 2000 and 2001. I would say gas Prices where half of what they are today. Seeing as how gas is over 3 dollars a gallon now, I wouldn't even think about it. Remember, though, the park pays more than it did back then. And if prices keep going the way they are, it is not just the employees who are going to be impacted by the gas prices...but the park itself and Cedar Fair as a whole. Mr. Kinzel seems to think gas prices do not have a major impact on Cedar Fair's business. I think this may be the year he finds out otherwise. All regional parks are very apt to suffer if gas prices go as high as many project. There are those who say to expect $3.75 for self service unleaded by spring, and perhaps $4.50 by year end. Then there are those, like Woofer, who claim the presidential election will somehow keep this from happening until at least after the Tuesday after the first Monday in November. Not by much I say. I made $7.00 an hour during 2000 and 2001. I have heard they don't pay much more then that now. I guess they would have to pay at least $7 though. DeLorean Rider
Thats what a lot of my associates made last year. I made 7 an hour in 03 and 04, then in 05 recieved an extra 25cents for site controller training at skyflyer. After I got promoted then I started making the big bucks ... UCbengal985
Don't forget that what department you're in makes a big difference. There are certain departments where you get paid a lot more than other departments.
PKIVortex
Yep and that's true with any job pretty much. Where I work obviously the higher you are in the company the more you get paid. I'm glad I'm not a level 1 team member anymore.
