The amusement park's owners, descendants of F.W. Henninger and A.S. McSwigan, voted overwhelmingly in favor of the sale to Madrid-based Parques Reunidos. Mr. Henninger and Mr. McSwigan acquired the park in 1906. The sale still needs the approval of the Federal Trade Commission and a state agency in Connecticut.
