luff
A quick trip out to SFGam in celebration of my son reaching 48" with his new shoes. After riding Viper a couple of times (yea!), American Eagle (boo!), Ragin Cajun, and a bunch of flats, the Dark night finally opened at 1:30. Since it had been down for the day, we only had about a 20 minute wait. The queue area is still on the slanted floor of the previous theater. i.e. slanted to one side the whole time. We went in to a room to see a quick movie, and we were thinking that things were looking pretty disney-esque. Hopping into the ride itself, we dissapearred into the dark. From this point on the ride went down hill in more than one way. With the wild mouse layout of going back and forth, I could see the scenes for the whole ride. The various special affects were all meshed together which gave off too much light. You could see too much of what was going on. Unfortunately the ride excitement was lacking too. After the ride, before I said anything I asked my son what he thought of the ride His response "eh. lets go ride viper and the Wizzer." After further prodding, he said that he expected more things jumping out at him. I guess he really wanted a dark ride. Edit - oops fat finger the post button

The Interpreter
Why do that when you can just look at Ricochet at Carowinds and see the exact layout of the coaster!
