MarketingExpress
It would, I would know i work there. When the train launches usually people are about half unloaded. If there were trains in the waiting brakes capacity would be higher we could bring that train right in. Although I'd rather not have it for obvious reasons. How long have you worked at FOF? Granted you probably know a few more things about the ride than the average visitor. But just because you work there doesn't mean you know everything about the ride, especially the decision to add or subtract trains.
Beast1979
Beast1979, I see that you must really like Cedar Point. What do you think of Mean Streak? When I rode it it was actually kinda fun! It wasn't to rough and it had at least some speed, the trims on it though are a bit much.

It would make Texas giant look like a B&M. I hope that the rumors are true about Meannie and it gets some TLC this offseasson. Could really be a great ride, the structure is just beautiful to look at and theres a lot of potential.
The Beast Rider
^ I rode Mean Streak before the trims. Back when it was running good (and before being trimmed to death), it was a lot of fun, although it was rough. I really don't mind a rough wooden coaster. The faster the better. I hope it gets some TLC too. It could be a very good coaster if they would let it live.
RailRider
^ What year was that???
The Beast Rider
^ The trim was not there when it first opened, or if it was there, it was not used. I believe that was in 1991 when I first rode it. I don't remember one being there in 1992, either. Alas, I was not back to Cedar Point until 2000 after the 1992 season, and it was a disappointment to say the least.
RailRider
I am pertty sure that Mean Streak opened with a few trim brakes. It wasnt till the mid to late 90's that ride became extremely rough. They added more trims and in 2001 they retracked the coaster. The coaster today still runs heavy on the trims and I believe will be seeing some more extensive TLC in the near future. So I can deffinately see where ridding in the early 90's would have given a much different ride than in the past few years. Mean Streak has gone through some changes and right now it is not in optimal shape.
