I_heart_pki
This is going to be very long so just hang in there lol. Monday We got to the park right at ten o' clock. First ride of the day was Delirium. It was a walk on. Then headed over to the sonf of beast and waited about ten minutes. waited the same for Drop Tower as well. Invertigo/face off took about twenty minutes for the very front seat. AE was a walk on as it usually is. Me and my friend decided to eat in festhaus and during our lunch the county line show played. I must say that it was pretty good if you like country music. After that we headed over to Fof and Firehawk. Fof took about 15-20 minutes to get on. Firehawk the wait was less than a half an hour! surprised me considering the 2 1/2 hour wait I had last time I rode it. After that it was Vortex which was fun as always. Then to The Beast and the Crypt. The Beast has become so much smoother than it was last season! I was amazed. I remember last season I had bruises on my leg and arm but it was very smooth this time!! Then we waited for like a half hour - 45 minutes on the crypt! Crazy! For some reason the line takes so much longer than it used to. No effects or anything were on it. It wasn't even completely dark. It is a fun ride don't get me wrong but It would be so much better if they would just add some stuff to it! Headed over to white water canyon after that and rode the favorites for a second time. All in all a great day. Notes - I was really surprised at how non-crowded it was. I mean it wasw Reds day and still the longest wait was about 45 minutes. - Noticed some construction going on by SoB. There were some old train looking cars that were blue and white. Not really sure about them. - Delirium broke down at about 1:00 and was closed until about 8. - The Red Racer was also breaking down most of the day. - Some kids kept throwing and bouncing basketballs that they won while we were in line for Firehawk they kept hitting me in the back of the leg and the ride operator kicked them out of line. I'm happy finally somebody took some initiative to control the basketballs. I don't know about you all but I find them highly annoying. - The fireworks were really hard to see. Blocked by trees and such. Tuesday Got to the park at about 10:30. It was more crowded than on Monday. My Mom and Dad headed over to the waterpark to reserve a Cabana for the day While me and my friend rode some stuff and got shirts made. We made The Beast the first ride of the day since we only rode it once the day before. It was about a ten minute wait not bad at all. After that we rode Vortex and headed over tho the waterpark. It was kinda chilly at the waterpark so we rode the tazmanian typhoon and coolangata racer we ordered lunch at the Cabana Amazing food brought right to us. It was great. My parents stayed at the cabana of course lol. My and my friend rode the train a couple of times through to dry off and to get some good looks at the construction going on. I'm not sure but the ravine thing they are digging looks to go to the left and I'm not sure how far. We were looking for any hints to what the ride could be but only found signs that said construction entrance. Darn. We headed over to Action Zone and rode Delirium and SoB and Flight Deck. most of the lines were about 20-30 minutes long. After that we headed over to The Racers and to FoF. We also watched the Endless summer on ice show. AMAZING!! I suggest that when you go to the park you take time and see this show. It is really good. Again me and my friend rode some stuff for a second time and headed over to the Scooby Doo haunted castle. The wait was about half hour. At about 9:10 and took our first ride. We got back in line and were two trains away from going again when the fireworks started. After they got the clear we rode it in complete darkness and I swear the tickets are worth that one ride in the dark! Amazing!! I've rode this ride in the dark before but for some reason this ride was different. That second hill was breathtaking! The view of the park was awesome as well. After that ride we called it a day and headed home. Amazing Day. Notes - The cicadas were horrible but of course anyone who has been to the park knows that. The were everywhere. They can be fun to play with whil waiting in line though. - I noticed that there is still a lot of Hannah-Barbera stuff used. Like in The Endless summer on ice show they used Yogi Bear. and in the lost parent center BamBam is still on the wall. They are also still selling Hannah-Barbera stuff in the shops. Can they do that? I know that probably sounds like such a stupid question but I thought their license or whatever with them was over... OH well I dont know I was just curious. - The Emporium also had a whole section devoted to Scooby-Doo. Anyone who knows me knows I'm in love with Scooby_do. In fact I spent about 250 dollars on scooby doo stuff lol. I never have seen them sell so much scooby doo stuff. I usually see stuffed animals but I mean they had EVERYTHING Scooby-Doo!! It was awesome! - The guys who were working The Beast when the park closed were amazing! They kept the crowd entertained and were extremely nice. They even have a song to sing..... If you're gonna ride The Beast clap your hands if you're gonna ride The Beast clap your hands if you're gonna ride The Beast cause The Beast is really sweet if you're gonna ride The Beast clap your hands. Love those guys lol. This has been one of the best trips I've taken to the park. Overall I think Cedar Fair is doing a pretty good job. Of course some things need work but that is the case with any park. I'm buying a season pass next year FOR SURE!!!! Things for hanging in through the post lol. comment on anything you read!! Avatar
Sounds like you guys had a great time. It’s nice to spread a trip over two days for that more relaxed feel of “we’ll ride it when we get there”. Also your report did not seem long because it read well, nice report.
I_heart_pki
thanks. I tried to make it easier to read by not putting it in one big long paragraph. I hate that.
