how do you insert pictures?

You have to have the URL of the photo. Scroll over the images at the top of the post window and find the one that says "insert picture". Click that, and enter the URL in the box that appears. It will put the necessary coding in the post.

From a simple user standpoint, is there an easier way? I find image shack frustrating...

Give me a few days so I can get my computer working at 100% again and I'll create a tutorial with screen shots and whatnot. I'll post it in the forums.
