Rain Rain Go Away!

With all the rain and chance of thunderstorms in the Cincinnati area

http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findwe...;weekday=Friday

We decided last night to wait to come to Kings Island to arrive about 1-2 PM but now they are forecasting definite rain showers/thunderstorms till late in the day with the same likely (80%) into the evening hours. I asked my family for a vote to drive two hours to take a chance and sit in the rain and hopefully see the special activities today/tonight or wait till tomorrow and have a full day of nicer weather with the chance of the special activities rescheduled for Saturday. Everyone agreed that we should hold off till tomorrow, but we where really looking forward to the events but not worth the two hour drive just to be rained out. So if they go on I hope it is a success but if not we will be there tomorrow for sure.

What is everybody else doing or think about the weather and how are you adjusting? (just curious)

When I think 4th of July I think of warm sunny weather. Not rain and cold. It disappoints me for sure. I was looking forward to the fireworks tonight Here in Ashland at Summer Motion but I really don't want to sit in the rain and then the fireworks be cancelled. I might go find a restaurant near the riverbank and stay in there and hopefully be able to see them. Who knows. I hope the rain will stop just for a while.

Though I can't remember the last fourth of July that it didn't at least threaten to rain.

Well, I'm sitting here at work (my Holiday to volunteer for) and feeling a bit ragged.

I think that I was out far to late for having to drag myself into work early in the morning.

Sure wish that ya'll would send some rain down to Georgia.

Rain wasn't all that bad at KI yesterday... Of course me and my friends got soaked while heading towards The Crypt. But after riding that four or five times (Not much else to do in the rain) it was dry outside and we went about our day.

Im going to the fair today at 5 here in southern indiana, its always funner when it rains!

Were leaving soon the most recent forecast for Mason sais showers should stop around 3:00. With a chance of storms at 7:00 and partly sunny at 8:00.

They had the same chance for storms monday we went and had a great dry day. It seems as though they have already got the drenching today. Wish

us luck.

I went to the Reds game last night and surprisingly the rain was not a threat at all except till the 9th inning.

And all of that rain sure put the coasters in a good mood for the rest of the day. I love what water does to them, especially the wooden coasters.

(Not much else to do in the rain)

Therein lies the reason that they loose so much business due to the rain policy on really rainy days.
