Ruth Voss would say there is no age to be too old. As a matter of fact, she thought it to be therapeutic for her arthritis to ride The Beast. And for heavens sake don't call her old, she may have passed on but she will let you know that she is not old.

Well, I love that story about The Voyage. Ironically, the kids and I were at Holiday World today.........I hope I'm still able to do ride things like that in 42 years....

But "old" is a state of mind more than anything else... Age is a number, which relects nothing more then the date that you were born. When I'm at amusement parks and riding rides, I'm the same "age" as my children......

I can vouch for that-Beast is my chiropractor. On another note, one of my coworkers at the park said 'scuse me ma'am' all I could think, was, I'm not that old!!!

I know what you mean. I hate it when people call me sir. I always politely tell them I'm not old enough to be a sir.

I remember reading somewhere that there were several "older" folks driving to Cedar Point when Top Thrill Dragster opened.

WOW!

Ruth Voss.

What an absolute class act.

Not to disparage anyone else that has held the position since she was around, but there really was no one better.
