joecartoon
i am going to ki with 4 other people what ride would you suggest to go to first and what ride before the last ride on The Beast?
ahank
First ride, if you want too avoid crowds, is definentaly going to be Firehawk. Lines get very long. As for last ride before Beast, I absolutley LOVE Vortex at night, so that may be an option. I've also heard Adventure Express is great at night. Hope this helps! Jasper
Well i would suggest getting to the park at about 9 30 and waiting for the ropes to drop and as soon as they do sprint to Firehawk to avoid lines. Also if the prices arent sky high do Slingshot and X-Treme Skyflyer those are an amazing experience.
RailRider
Dont miss SoB, often criticized, but still one of the best rides in the park. I would recomend in this order. Firehawk, FoF, Racer, AE, Delierium, SoB, Flight Deck, Invertigo, Drop Tower. If you can hit all of those before lunch time, grab a bite and then catch a show. But if you go in that order your not running all over the park. Then for the latter half of the day you can work the back of the park. Thrill_Biscuit
Definitely Firehawk; if you wait, you'll spend epic line time later in the day. Definitely Vortex before Beast (try to get last car). It's a blast!
House
When I was there 2 weekends ago I went on Vortex at night time, last row, I normally go front row. It was a totally different ride and I was blown away. Vortex is always a blast at night though. Then I was able to ride the last running ride of the nite on Beast, that was fantastic!. It was running really fast, and when we were pulling into the station everyone was chanting "one more time" really loud. They didn't let us have another though. Also definitly do Firehawk at opening, I always get on the first or 2nd ride of the day, no wait at all.
KIfan73
Seriously, in addition to the major rides, don't miss Viking Fury, Congo Falls, Wild Thornsberry's, or White Water Canyon. You may want to check out a few rides in NU. These rides aren't the most "intense", but they are a blast.
dakota2112
...so basically, ride everything I can attest to Vortex being excellent at night. For a nice view of the park, sit in the right-side seat. The one and only time I ever rode a coaster all by myself (well ok me and my son) was Vortex at night, near closing time. There is a psychological aspect to that which actually raised the adrenaline level just a bit, riding by ourselves like that. It was a strange sensation having the entire train to ourselves like that.
joecartoon
when should i stop for lunch?
Thrill_Biscuit
^Well, you might not be able to help it if you're hungry and happen to catch the aroma of Potato Works! but seriously, when your hunger overpowers your coaster urge, that's a good time to stop and eat. joecartoon
how should i keep my money and what should i take and where is the best place to see the construction?
The Interpreter
One good way to keep your money is to pack a lunch in a cooler in the car...or leave the park. Or, eat at Outer Hanks. It's actually quite good and, for the park, not nearly as overpriced as many other choices there are....and don't forget the free water for the asking. As for the construction, do NOT miss going up in the Eiffel Tower.
kikevin
I highly recommend going on Drop Tower towards the end of the night, I love looking out over the lit up park. I also recommend eating at Outer Hanks, it may look expensive, but it is well worth it due to the amount of food you receive. I hope you enjoy your day at the park! I would defenitly go to Firehawk first but never forget to ride Flight Deck and Racer!
