House
We are having a company day at the park, has anyone ever been to one of these? It says that the park will be closed to the GP. Do other companies usually attend as well? Will the park be pretty much empty? The huge downside is I can't use my platinum pass. Spend a Special Day with Co-Workers at Kings Island Sept. 8 August 14, 2007 You and your family are invited for a full day's admission to Paramount's Kings Island near Cincinnati Saturday, Sept. 8. Ticket prices are $32.68 per adult (ages 7 and up) or $27.14 for children ages 3-6. (The park will not be open to the public that day, so season tickets will not be honored.) MarketingExpress
Our company bought out the park the day before opening day this year. It usually depends on how many people are employed by your company. To give you an idea a company the size of P & G and GE will buy out the park with no other companies buying out the same day. Other smaller companies will try to cut costs by sharing the park with another small company.
CoastersRZ
And P&G actually buys out the park for two days, because they have that many employees in the Cincinnati area. This year, P&G day is the 12 and 13 of September. For the first time in more then a decade, I will not be at KI for P&G day. I will instead be down in Florida that weekend this year, at Disney World. So I guess I`ll take Disney over KI this year.
WooferBearATL
At one time, the rule was that a company had to guarantee a gate of 12K. Now granted, most park sell outs usually bring in more than 12K but that was the minimum.
House
I can't really imagine my company buying out the park for the day, they really emphasize keeping administrative costs low. If I called that # would they be able to tell me? There is a 1-800 # listed to order the tickets from, I wonder if they would be able to tell me.
