Wizard of Ozz? I'm sorry but I do not see how that well attract more visitors then the wild west theme.... They really need to come up with something a bit new and exciting so they can bring in the younger crowds. But Wizard Of Ozz...

to me it would be annoying to see wizard of oz everywhere. i would get tired of it it, but who knows, it might work.

Too bad they don't sink the money into Joyland. I think that park has way more potential than Wild West World, especially a Murphy Brothers ran Wild West World.

True that. I really miss the wonderful dark ride, the coaster there with its fixed lapbars (on a PTC!, the only adult sized PTC I ever rode with fixed lapbars!), and the interesting old time atmosphere of that place.

I never actually went to Joyland, but have seen pictures. I think their dark ride "Whacky Shack" was very similar, albeit smaller, to the Phantasmagoria at my home park and the Whacky Shack at Waldameer.

I'm planning a trip to Waldameer this year just for Whaky Shack to remind me of my youth.
