Beast1979 Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 With Gas Prices High, Many Families Seek Fun Close To Home Huh, Mr. Kinzel and Mr. Sharpio (sp?) knew what they were talking about! I go to Kings Island a lot and I see very reasonable crowds, it never looked to me like attendence was low! Quote
The Interpreter Posted August 23, 2008 Author Posted August 23, 2008 Yeah, after they cut prices to levels not previously seen. Never have I seen such deals for the gate...or such high prices inside. The test will be how many season passes both chains sell for next season (and Kings Island will not be indicative...Diamondback will sell passes to people who otherwise would not buy...and not every Cedar Fair park can or will be building a new Diamondback from B & M). Over at Six Flags, the smart money is wondering who will even own the places come this time next year. I doubt current management will be in place. Quote
