Is there any way we could get into the park while the private event is going on since we already reserved a room? please help. Quote

Your best bet would be to get ahold of GWL and see if you can change your reservation date. Quote

"Nick, We cannot let anyone in the park this weekend or during any other private event or park sellout unless they have a ticket that was obtained through the company or organization that has rented the park out for the day. You needed proof that you live over so many miles away, such as your driver's license showing your residency, and proof of a hotel/campsite stay such as your room key. The official KI stance was that they did not let anyone in, but case by case exceptions were made. I cannot say whether or not KI still makes these exceptions under the CF ownership. Quote
