Kings Island is Awarded the Golden Ticket for Best Kids' Area for the Eighth Straight Year, Operating Days in September & More!

For the eighth straight year, Kings Island's Nickelodeon Universe has been given the distinction the distinction of being the best kids' are in the world! The Golden Ticket Awards are given annually by Amusement Today Magazine, a respected publication in the theme park industry. "The Golden Ticket Awards are such a special honor," said Don Helbig, area manager, public relations at Kings Island. "All of us at Kings Island are extremely flattered and proud of being rated No. 1 for 'Best Kids' Area' for the eighth consecutive year by park enthusiasts who travel all over the world seeking out the 'best' in our industry." Kings Island has added a few operating days in September. On Friday, September 19th, Kings Island will be open from 5pm - 10pm and on Saturday the 20th, the park will be open 10am to 10pm.
