Very unfortunate. That is a beautiful property that deserves more attention than it currently gets. Hopefully Cedar Fair won't see it as an expendable resource.

Well, Cedar Fair only manages the property...just as it did Star Trek: The Experience. It would not surprise me if the two management contracts met similar ends. (Note that Cedar Fair at one time also managed Camp Snoopy at Mall of America...said venue is now a Nick Universe, under license from a former owner of Kings Island of Mason, Ohio).
