Granted I haven't been to the forums in a while, but has the spellcheck disappeared? If so will there be one added in the future?

I did not add the spell check since it seemed the people who needed to use it weren't. I have downloaded a extension for IE that adds a spell checker in your browser for you. You can get it at http://www.iespell.com/ There is also one for FireFox: http://spellbound.sourceforge.net/install.html

Thanks for the extension, I'm always looking for good firefox extensions.
